He's kind if a 20 goal, 50 point guy. That's nice, but isn't going to get that type of haul with just 2 years on his deal. Getting a young 2nd pair defenseman would be plenty.

Not unless its a fair trade. all these guys available at best are 3 -4 guys. you know what your getting but not really what your giving. the ceiling on some of these leaf prospects could reach the stars. leafs need to stick to the plan. if ya can get something at a good price sure. but without taking a chance by giving a young player away. its scary how good the leafs are gonna be. kapanen is gonna be special. my opinion.

That's crazy because you can keep JVR, sign Franson and be a better team. Cam Fowler is not a very good player. He is Anaheim's fourth best defenseman and he isn't worth JVR.

Then again, Larson isn't worth Hall and that happened.

Nah not really...he just had 3rd highest time on ice for the cup winning team. What he lacks in foot speed he makes up for in smarts. Has good D stick and has a good first pass. He played very, very well this run its just that he made a few glaring gaffs (ie Bobby Ryan OT goal game 1) and thats what he's judged on by a lot of folks it seems.
