Leafs don t need any thing from any of the rest of the teams in the NHL. Just draft and be patient. There is nothing that special available that would warrant the leafs giving up a young potential hockey stud. i wont be upset if the leafs do nothing. let every one else overpay for defense. and now seeing the pens win with their defense. i don t wanna give up anything.

JVR is a very solid player, I don't get the hate. He has to sign a reasonable contract with the Ducks to make it happen though.

I dont think JVR, top prospect and a 1st get you Fowler.. Defense market is an expensive place to shop these days

That's crazy because you can keep JVR, sign Franson and be a better team. Cam Fowler is not a very good player. He is Anaheim's fourth best defenseman and he isn't worth JVR.

Then again, Larson isn't worth Hall and that happened.

While I understand the idea, would you really not trade someone like Kapanen for more defensive help? Especially with Bracco and however many other forwards you have in the system
