Yeah that one won't work anymore lol. But it says a lot about having strong centers over a puck moving D and JB should be stacking up C this draft in my opinion. Look at that Pens D it was weak and paper thin but got the job done. Need C and speed. Preds had NO top C once RJ was gone. - Nuck4U
but they also had an excellent D coach though.
Their staff is prepared for times like that |

Pens.
One more cup for Crosby and the arguments can start being made that he may go down as a better 'complete' player than Gretzky all time. And it's a damn good argument considering what Crosby has accomplished in this era. Good for Sid.
If the Pens could do three in a row in the cap era that would be an unreal accomplishment. |

Oake is one of the biggest tools on tv with a lot of the dumbest questions. Can't wait until CBC tv is shut down. |

I can t recall the last time 3 in a row ever happened. Perhaps the habs back when there was on a few teams
That would be really something to happen these days |

When you have two great centers you don't need a Norris caliber dman. |

That was legendary. Oilers winning 5 cups in 7 seasons stands up pretty good too. |

That's true. Impressive none the less however.
I think the Habs won 4 in a row twice and 5 in a row in the Richard era correct? |

He was. Intangibles. He does the little things so well as well as put up points. Mcdavid is going to own the season scoring title for probably the next 9-10 years but man Crosby sure knows how to win. Truly a pleasure to watch in this era. |

Well they have had those 2 great centers for over a decade. So obv more too it. Kessel seems to be the guy who put them over the top. No cups for years until he showed up. |

Yes....they're the only team to win five in a row to the best of my knowledge but they also won four in a row a few times. |

Carolina 2006.....Staal Brindamour and Doug Weight, three great centres. Not on the level of Crosby and Malkin but still two 1000+ point centres. |
