Back to Dallas makes a tiny bit of sense.

That would be nice. Louis is a serviceable player, as a 3rd liner, but, that is a horrendous contract.
People talk about Sutter and Sbisa deals, yet, this one is the worst on this team.

82 more games.

On Loui Eriksson...

The Canucks may have asked, but so far no response...

This is why I remind myself this is a speculation site and not a rumour site.

Less likely to be hysterical.

Sad thing is there is a fair bit of competition in that category.

Untl Markstrom proves he's a starter, his contract is pretty bad imo (a contract given on no merit)

Luongos cap hit if her retires is definitely scary. But their are teams with worse salary problems right now (look at LA)

regarding LE, I am hoping he has a better season. I have no expectation that he can be traded.

he wasn't used properly last season, especially on the pp, often seemed like Sutter and him wanted the same spot around the net.

completely agree! Sutter needs to kill penalties, that's it. This team needs to stop thinking of him as an offensive zone centre, when he's a 3rd line centre that helps produce occasionally. I'm hoping another summer of training makes Bo even better than Sutter, so he doesn't give Travis Green a choice but to play Sutter on the 3rd line.

He should play with Bo and Boeser, that would be a solid line.

Completely agree with this. He will be better. This game is built on chemistry with your line mates and he was bounced around last yr. Sutter is a good 3/4 line center, good on draws, plays solid D, and will notch you 15-20 goals a yr.....but he is terrible about using his line mates.

Must be talking about the high slot on the PP

That's close enough to the front of the net, isn't it?

that was under the previous idiot coach. Lets see what how these players look under the new coach who has a rep of getting more from players. Let's see 40 games in

I agree, leave Granlund with the Sedins (he seems Hansen-esque) and leave Baertschi on the 3rd line with Sutter. Loui can do the nasty stuff around the net while Bo/Brock do some magic

Anyone know what type of systems Travis Green uses? I can honestly say I watched about 5 Utica games in the last 3 years

ps=the posting/lag on this site has become complete garbage, the ads are ridiculous.

I think there is too much side of the net presence

thought LE was known for net front and goals in close.

anyway, makes me wonder if part of that reluctance in front is because the forwards don't trust the dmen with their bombs?

bring on the trades.

WD didn't want to us LE on the 1st PP as the net presence because he's a LH shot. Look at where he scored a big chunk of his goals in Boston....net front on the PP
