Don't get me wrong I liked Tryamkin as a player and him beyond the game. Really great guy. True all in heart guy for his teammates. He had something other than just size we needed in a defence man on this team. Something went on. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I think there is more to it than just him wanting to be in Russia.

Yes you are completely on to something there. Don's rumor theory on Tree being hated by players aside. Like you said you loved the guy for showing heart on the ice for his teammates. The article from Russia pretty much laid out he got a better offer to come back to the KHL. Plus the patriotism of playing in the Olympics. Don't forget the effect with last games were in Russia with great disappointment. They see this refusal to commit by NHL opportunity to claim gold.

But if things fall apart over there in Russia and they don't provide what they promised. Then he will look back to the Nucks to come through.

All I will say is I've heard the same thing from a member of the coaching staff as well as from a winger....I'll leave it at that out of respect for the source. I'm full of sh!t or telling the truth you can decide which. I will point out that I said the same thing well before Tryamkin decided to leave. I posted that he wasn't liked in the room and he was likely heading back to Russia.
