I am not convinced they still rate Mittle as the best center after the top 2. It certainly sounds like they were high on him at the mid point of the season but lately they are always talking about Glass and Makar. I think their list changed.

I hope you're right. My concern is that Jim typically seems to like toolsy forwards(guys who can dangle, have heavy shots, are fast straight line skaters, etc.) and Glass is more of a cerebral player.


But then again, the Boeser pick suggests that he's willing to draft a forward who isn't flashy player.

well you may be pleased this year....it certainly seems like they are set on Mittle/ Glass/ Petersson/ Makar. No idea what the actual order is though. My gut is that it's between Glass and Mittle. Peterson/Kostin and Makar are in case they add another first.

To me, that's just him covering his bases and not showing his hand to other GM's. They wanted a center last year, I think there are too many to pass up. I've said it before and I'll say it again: 100 bucks says they draft a center, if anybody wants to take it. I do think they want the PP QB for sure, so Makar has an outside chance. Like I said, I'd put money on a Center getting selected, literally and figuratively.
