Don't be sorry, be mindful - that in modern existence of that league (1998/14/16 teams) it has generated ONE player that's had moderate success at the NHL level. Just Temper your expectations is all i'm saying.

It's a valid concern for sure

Glass is becoming my boy...he's ahead of Vilardi/Casey for me now. The more I watch, the more I'm convinced that he's the best pick out of those 3. He's not the flashiest player or most explosive, but he gets poop done and his game translates well into the pros IMHO.

Plus he's got room to improve physically just like pillsbury doughboy Mittelstadt. Glass is lanky and judging from his pics at the combine, he's not physically developed yet and some serious gm time with NHL trainers would do him good. He might still grow a bit too, comes from a tall family.

I'm on board with selecting Glass now as well. I see too much risk with Mittelstadt who I was focused on earlier. Too soft, too little elite competition around him currently, head is too square.

OFF TOPIC:

Who gets their name on the cup?

For instance, Frankie Corrado played two regular season games for the Pens. He did not dress for a playoff game and I am not sure if he was even with the team in the role of a 'black ace' --- 4 or 5 players who are scratched each night but are there for emergencies and experience.

Is Corrado a Stanley Cup Winner?

EDIT: Yes both he and Sesito were black aces.

I was sitting next to him at Earls a while ago. Super nice guy and he was happy to discuss the Canucks but wow......massive introvert and bit of an odd dude. He is probably still surprised he plays in the NHL

I thought it was a certain amount of regular season games too. For example, Letang will be on there having played 41 regular season games which effects whether they make the playoffs. https://www.thoughtco.com...n-the-stanley-cup-2779441

Ya I'm honestly not sure either, but I do remember hearing something about 41 games. Here's another one that mentions it http://thehockeywriters.c...uins-miss-out-on-the-cup/

I do think it's legit, in fact I think Letang play like 13 seconds of a few games just to get to 41 and make sure he'd be on there if they won after his neck was torqued.

never knew about the 41 games before, always that you had to have stepped on the ice for a playoff game.
The article mentions 1 game of the stanley cup final. I wonder if that means stanley cup playoffs or only the finals. Makes sense that if a player plays in any round of the playoffs he gets his name on cup. Should not only be the final. Say a player is acquired at the TD (missing the 41 game min) and gets injured in round 1 or 2, should he not get included in the cup names? He helped them get to the cup final

How many players league wide got the call asking them to wave their NMC or NTCs?
