Flyers fans in 2010 showed way more class than Nashville is right now. - jmatchett383
I am a Flyers fan through and through but we lost in 2010. Nashville was robbed every step of the way, they never had a chance even when they outplayed them. |

I think I could brush off this victory if Mulkin or Guentzel win the Conn Smyth but even this game alone, Nashville hasn't a goal waved off that shouldn't have been. - SuperSchennBros
Nashville is the closest hockey town to where I am from. A lot of people I know are saying they feel cheated. |

When you win back to back there is no luck going on - Just5
Oh please. Last year was dominating and made me respect them somewhat. But this year they were cratered all postseason in possession and all stats and squeaked through a few series by the skin of their teeths. They are a resilient, well coached group who knows how to win, but this was a very lucky postseason. Their defense without Letang was a dumpster fire and they could barely move the puck half the time. No Johansen was a godsend for them too.
Even stayinthefnnet would corroborate this if he wasn't about to be banned from the boards. |

But the Pens didn't take them away, so why throw poop at them while they're skating the cuo? Throw it at Bettman. |

I honestly thought their D was going to cost them as well, especially after that horrid Game 3 in Ottawa where they gave up 4 goals in 4 minutes or so. Interesting to think where they would have been had they dealt MAF last offseason. |

How is Sidney Crosby winning the Conn Smyth not a fact that the Cup was thrown at the Penguins. He's sat after a concussion and was barely a factor for half a series after that injury. Malkin I thought was the most consistent forward every night and it showed when he scored or set up a goal in a close game. I'm disappointed in hockey overall right now. |

Their goaltending, and the RyJo injury, were the 2 biggest reasons they won. Skaters were outplayed 90% of the time aside from Columbus. |

Nashville was force fed crap tonight and have a right to throw whatever they want on their ice tonight. It should have been a 1-1 game when Pitt scored. |

I agree it should have been a goal. But by the same token, PPs were I believe 6-0 including a 5-on-3. So it's not like they were trying to hand it to Pittsburgh on a platter.
Be mad at the refs/league, dont throw towels in players paths when they're carrying a 40 pou d eeight above their head. |

This wasn't a regular season mistake. The damn league wants more goals, so stop preventing them. |

It was a major mistake. But are you saying they should let players score after the whistle blows? |

I could have seen Murray or Guenztel as legit Conn Smythe winners. Sidney seems like he was given it just based on reputation...no way did he have a bigger impact than those two. |

I'm at a bar. I didn't hear the whistle. The problem for me is, the entire series the calls have been consistently inconsistent. Either the refs know the rules of the games or they don't. Crosby winning another Conn Smyth when he wasn't the clear best player every night or most nights makes a joke or the sport I love most. |

Murray started late in the playoffs. Malkin led all players in points for the playoffs. Malkin should have been in the running and won. |

You forgot about Guentzel breaking a playoff scoring record and scoring the first goal seemingly every game. |
