The second that puck hit Murray he blew the whistle at some point you need to just say I messed up and correct the call. At no point was that puck covered.

I bet Stewie will be all over that bullpoop whistle. Terrible positioning and too quick a whistle. NHL says No cup for you Nashville.

Gotta like the quick dismissal of the play by the announcers. What a joke

I agree it makes me sick.

I fell like the refs should be able to use their judgement and clearly see the puck wasnt covered and overturn the call. You have the technology and blatantly ignoring Using.

Agreed. But if it happened to the Penguins, I doubt you'd be half as upset.

But have you seen that happen to the Penguins at all the whole playoffs?

A bad call is a bad call it doesn't matter who it was against.

Rinne got away with interference for sure. I hate the Penguins but have to be unbiased.

Figures the refs have to screw up monumentally in the potential last game of the year

The rule states if you lose sight of the puck, play is dead. They were talking over if the puck had crossed the line on the first shot.

I'd love to stack the calls for Pitt next to the calls that go against Pitt. Game 1 anybody?

We can clearly solve this problem with drone refs.

Then drone players. Then the debate. Do we want new fast drones or bigger slower enforcer drones with hellfires.

Deal. Okay, make up call on Sheary and no call on blatant interference by Rinne.

Yiu seriously think the NHL would rather have a repeat champion in game 6 as opposed to a new champion in a non-traditional market in hame 7? Why would that benefit the NHL?

If the NHL was smart they would embrace the Preds winning the cup. Provided of course it was earned and not from blown calls.
The Preds have had chances to score other than the disallowed goal. If they lose this game it's on them not a bad call from the refs.

No no it's all the refs. That's why the Pens have been gifted all of the power plays so far tonight

Maata and Daley tripped in succession, no calls.

Maatta trips arvidsson, called.

Man, the refs are totalling calling this game in Pittsburgh's favor.

And Murray just got slashed, no call.
