Because Botterill was in Nashville last night, I expect an interview today with Housley and if he likes him, I expect an offer by end of day tomorrow at the latest. If it goes great I would expect and offer today.

If they have / will talk I am sure they take him. I mean it is a low cap hit and at worst they trade him in a year or two. Every team should WANT to sign guys like this, unless they have tons of goalies signed.

Question, so let's say Florida makes a deal with Vegas to take Luongo. And in a year or two (with 3 years left on deal which is his only making $1 mil those years), the recapture penalty would be on the team that gave the deal, right? So Vancouver would face the penalty? That means it is likely Vegas takes him (with a side deal of course) because the low salary with higher cap hit could be worth it. Dang.

Well he won't be playing in Florida unless he makes the NHL roster. I believe both Florida teams have minor league affiliates in the North.
