Is Detroit overpaying for any specific reason, or are those packages both even for you? Those teams do both need d, so I'm fairly sure Ericsson won't be moving. I've always wondered if detroits a team Edler might waive for.

they've always liked Edler, but without Datsyuk, and with Zetterberg nearing his last years I doubt Edler has any interest going to Detroit anymore. They are in a kind of rebuild mode as well.

Why would detroit be over paying?

I agree don't trade down but I disagree take Glass or Vilardi. JB needs to take the BPA in his opinion and ignore the noise. No one on here knows who will be a better player between Glass and Peterson
