Not, I wouldn't. He s an overpaid third pairing dman for sure. However, to believe more then 2 of the young guys make the big club after training camp, I don't expect. Entering year 4 of his contract, retaining salary will get him moved. Hopefully, a third guy makes this decision happen quicker.

I have to admit the Pens have gotten a lot further then the talent on the blue line would suggest. Outside of Doumolin, I consider the other guys 3rd pairing dmen. Maybe Schultz is a top 4. Terrific goal tending covers a lot of weaknesses

His contract is a non issue. Just stop playing him on the top (frank)ing pairing and give him #6 minutes like he should get. Better yet, don't play him! This year we can roll without him. Gudas, Provorov, Ghost, Morin, Sanheim, Hagg......I like the sound of that.

But more likely is he gets top pairing minutes again. Dat reliabilty

dude, while if i had to bet, i dont like their chances in the remaining best of three, they do have a shot. and id be willing to do that to increase their odds ever so slightly. and yeah. amac would slot in as currently better than hainsey by a large margin.

although to be fair, drew doughty could somehow find his way into their locker room and he wouldnt be given a sweater to dress in place of hainsey.
