I can't wait until opening night next year when, after making the roster, he has less than 476 hits and doesn't record a Goride Howe hat trick, at which point he will be considered a bust. - jmatchett383
according to some he's already a bust. #11, drafted four years ago, 1 game in the NHL. Bust.
Me. I can't wait to see him on the squad.

I'll admit I was bummed when they took him, as I wanted them to get Ryan Pulock. Since then, I've come around and I'm now very excited for him full-time. |

Its funny, I remember being skeptical that they were going to take Morin, and I wanted them to take someone else, but for the life of me I can't remember who. I went back and looked at that draft. I recognized all the names, but I can't recall who it was that I wanted them to take. |

I remember a few people on here wanting Mirco Mueller, and Nisdffsopcechushkin (aka "The Russian Lindros") but Nishchcuskcidoison went before Morin. |

The next draft, I remember really well. Dylan Larkin was supposed go #9, and he started to drop. Now, Larkin happened to be one of the few kids in the draft I had seen play, so I was pretty excited when he started sliding. Then I noticed that Detroit was ahead of us, and I had this sinking feeling that Larkin wasn't going to get past him and down to us. He didn't. I was ok with Sanheim, but for a few minutes there I thought we were getting Larkin. |

The two players I wanted went to Buffalo and Dallas so I was ready to trade down and take Theodore who I really liked. |

I wanted Nichushkin as he even stated he wanted to come to NY or Philly and his size and speed were alluring. I still want him honestly and his stock has never been lower. He played in the KHL last year and wants to come back to the NHL, played well in the World Cup and is healthy by what I have read.
I was fine with Morin as I trusted the Flyers 1st round picks...they have had an impressive run with them, no? And Nichushkin was obviously already off the board. |

That's who Bill was pulling for as well if I remember correctly. I do really like that he is a Right H D. He should get more time this year and we can officially have the who is better argument relentlessly until one or all of us jump off a bridge. |

The last time I was this angry about a Flyers hire was when they hired Ian Anderson to be their analytics guy. Really? That dude's thick as a brick. |

Dave Hakstol did the same thing, except the only question on the profile was "is his name Chris Vandevelde?" |
