I like it too.
I also think Hextalls quotes "the youth will be here sooner then later" seems to fit this.
I'll be interested in moves this offseason if they can move some vets out (Read, Weise, MacDonald) and just let the youth step in. - J35Bacher
I am pretty sure Ned Stark said that too |

I like this:
“He’s one of the best coaches out there,” TSN’s Craig Button said of Knoblauch, per the Edmonton Journal. “Whoever gets him is going to be very lucky.
“He can flat-out coach. He’s adaptable, he knows how to make adjustments as the game’s going on. He’s a great developer and bench coach.” - J35Bacher
lol - just commenting for relevancy, but
[releases mock draft]

from EK:
Montreal talks to Philly about #2. (e4)
I don't know any names involved here, and I fully feel it would have to be a very enticing deal and would include this year's #1, Galchenyuk+. That's just speculation though...no source yet on that one...

I think the way the board flows in pretty interesting. A big topic of discussion before the lottery was how would the Flyers find a future #1 center. The stars aligned and we now have an opportunity to draft a player that has the potential to fill that hole. They may not be on the level of McDavid or Matthews but you never know what might happen. Duchene is a nice player but he is not the player that you role the dice and move the 2nd overall pick for, regardless of what else is included that is within the realm of reality.
What I should just post is this is a no brainer situation. Make the pick. |

This has become a 24/7 news station. People are bored and just throwing crap out there to fill air time. |

Yes. Make the pick.
I was one of the ones tossing about for a number one center. Since my Draisaitl for Provorov is never happening... This is a gift. |

tbf i think most of the people that were on team "uhhhh guys, we need a future #1 center?" have consistently been on team "make the pick" |

I agree. I mean you always listen, and, if some GM wants to massively (key word is massively) overpay, then sure, you trade the pick. Other than that, you sit back, watch who Jersey takes, and walk up to the dais and pick the other guy.

Hopefully Hexy doesn't literally walk up and say "The Philadelphia Flyers are proud to select, the other guy." |

Montreal is like that loser friend you had growing up when you had to tell your parents to lie and say your not around if he calls
Doesn't he understand we're at the cool kids table with shero and his boys! |

An under achieving former first rounder an under achieving defenseman with potential and a first rounder is hardly worth the #2. I don't believe Montreal is really that foolish to believe they'd be able to make those deals. I'm sure they kicked tires. I just don't see it. |
