Does anyone know how the bad blood between the nucks and leafs started? Was it the lou for Kadri, bozak and a 1st trade proposals? (That's what they were asking or gilis)at the time ,cause I can't remember? I know that some or most don't give a shat! but was curious

Goes back to no one giving a damn about the canucks or vancouver as city decades ago.
The leafs always being the spotlight same with Toronto.
The canucks became relevant for a bit and city is now world class (like Toronto has been for many decades prior) but yet they still hate.

And the team is finally getting around to the rebuilding stage,but what I don't like is the trolling! We shouldn't be going in to troll for sure! ,but seeing the trade proposals are unbelievable for the most part so it's hard not to jump in!

They hate the attention and media coverage that always Toronto receives.

They hate that despite going to the cup in 2011 that Toronto always has been and always will be more relevant.

And now they hate us because of how well the rebuild is going and could only wish that they had players like Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Rielly and Kadri to build around.

All I can say is that I'm looking forward to giving back all of the bullpoop and grief that the Leafs have suffered over the years, and it will given back 10 fold.

Vancouver had a nice trade deadline last season.

If they could somehow trade the Sedins for future assets, it would be ideal.... but it's not going to be easy.

Nothing is happening in Vancouver until:
A. The Sedins reitre or are traded
B. They can get rid of horrible contracts like Loui Eriksson's
C. They find their #1 goalie
D. They get a legitimate coach

They've made some progress getting younger and have a few solid prospects, but they're still a ways away from making any real noise.

Their #1 problem?... They haven't fully committed to the rebuild. Teams like Pittsburgh and Chicago retool, Vancouver simply isn't there.

Ok then I see it where it doesn't do much! But I can definitely see that! ya the leafs fans have taken a beating! But it's pretty frank up! Bad ownership, managers! And yet we hear it's our faults! that's the difference between leaf fans ,and other teams! only maybe Chicago cub fans understand! We stand by our team no mater what!
