I don't think its a they want or need to trade him, I think it's more his contact status that is driving the bus.

I'd like to have Drouin but I don't think it will work out trying to trade for him. We aren't good trade partners with Tampa.

Dahlin, Merkley, McIsaac, Hughes. Next years D class looks like 2015's. Probably a better option than potentially overpaying for Muzzin. Cant see a scenario where a pending UFA one dimensional winger lands him.
