I truely think Garth will try to have Vegas take a pick instead of taking CDH or TH.

If he's not successful in doing that then I think he has no choice but to trade one of them instead of losing one for nothing.

The Islanders like there defenseman and it's depth, which is what Weight confirmed in his interview the other day right or wrong I think they are going to try and keep them together. Just a gut feeling. Probably wrong.

Well we know drouin can take a hit and jvr is a big boy too so I like them for that. Also trading a pick in a crap draft for grabbos salary isn't a bad idea even if it's say grabo and a 1st to Vegas and for them to not take cdh

I do like getting guys like JVR, Drouin, or Johnson. Eberle just does not interest me and especially with his contract. I have no issue trading a pick for Vegas to take Grabo or Kulemin.

While CDH frustrates me because his offensive game has not development like I hoped, I'd still like to keep him if possible. Isles will have to move TH or CDH though if they want that top 6 forward.

You left out the isles took sundstrom (who never played in the NHL), over Nikita Kucherov. How how about 2010 when he passed on fowler for niederreiter when nino was already a big reach at 5. Could've even picked Tarasenko who was ranked higher than niederreiterr. Snow hasn't developed a single all star or elite talent. And nobody should say Tavares because Stevie Wonder could've made that pick.

There is another choice, as I've pointed out ad nauseam... That choice is to protect 5D and only 3F which means protecting DeHaan and exposing Nelson. I know it's not ideal, exposing a 20-goal scorer (as you and cpt have reminded me), but it is something for Garth to consider.

rounds 5-7 of the draft should be removed. more ufa rookies isnt an issue. two very good ones on the pens right now.
