I think we'd all like to see Sbisas contract gone, as unlikely as it is. Aside from that I'd much rather lose Gaunce than Boucher - NorthNuck
I doubt Vegas would take Sbisa. They will get 6 better/ cheaper than him. I can see Canucks doing some kind of trade with Vegas where a player like Subban is involved or a prospect like Brisebois for a return of something Vegas has a few of. An upgrade for us. Example Subban for Hartnell |

I can't wait for the fallout after Subban gets traded. |

I don't think we should be trading for any forwards to be honest.
Edit: Unless we are sending a forward the other way |

agreed, he did start finding the net with the more consistent ice time he was given. - SRam19
Not wanting to sound negative but guys like Bouchard and Molina will keep you at the bottom of the pack IMO

I just threw two names out. It could be Sven for Korpisalo . The point is Vegas wont be interested in our exposed list , they may want to try to trade for a prospect instead |

I think Boucher will have more upside, with the more confidence he gains. He did show flashes of his goal scoring touch last season. But I do see that he is not fit for a bottom 6 role. He would be a decent filler in the top 2 lines. |

If there is a deal to be made that could benefit us in the long run it would be nice, but I don't see much beyond something really minor. Do you have an example of something that would be worth the time of making the deal? |

Say he does score more and gets all the way up to 15 goals we are still talking about a C+ type player.
All your second line players should be able to score 20 plus goals and your top players around 30 .
I don't see Boucher as a 20 goal scorer. Sorry.
I will concentrate on Boeser Dahlen Goldobin hopefully Lockwood and and Jake some of our draft picks this year. |

Canucks goal total needs to go way up, Boeser will help, but a guy like Boucher could add a significant amount as well - NorthNuck
Boucher is a plug that is easily replaced. |

It is very hard to give an example without knowing who would be on the list.
I have heard Matt Martins name being thrown around as an exposed player . This team could really need that type of toughness. You would need to wait for the list on the 18 th |

This. Waiver wire pickup and nothing more. I would be happy if he got picked, we lose nothing. |

No argument that he would be easy to replace. But would you rather have him on the team or Gaunce? At least Boucher can score some goals. |

As things stand Boeser might be the only one on that list that makes the team this year. If that's the case, I wouldn't mind having Boucher around, who could turn into a decent middle 6 fwd rather than another Chaput/Megna/Skille etc. You may as well have some players with some kind of potential rather than sit on our hands till those guys arrive. |

Gaunce. Defence is hard, offence can be learned. Gaunce can score 15 goals as easily as Boucher can IMO, Gaunce has more tools. |

Boucher scored 5 goals in 27 games for us. Gaunce scored how many in 57 games?
By the way Boucher did that in extremely limited ice time and if you extrapolate that it becomes 15 in 82 games. Not too bad if you ask me |

I think you will be surprised who you see on the team this year. Canucks have 17 mil in cap space as of today . Bo Miller and Gudbrandson will eat up 13 mil so you have 4 mil to sign 3 more roster players I think Gaunce JV Goldobin and Boeser will all be on the team for cap space reason alone.
It is bloody ridiculous to be maxed out in cap space for a bottom 3 team. |

Different roles . Gaunce played with Chaput Dorsett JV Skille
Boucher played with Bo Twins Sutter |

I want them all on the team if they have good camps but we can't have it unless we trade away a couple players.
We have: Twins, Eriksson, Bo, Bae, Granlund, Sutter, Dorsett, and probably Chaput on the team. That leaves 3 or 4 spots on the team, 2 are 4th line spots. |
