Pens are sticking to the outside again. Their PP is awful. And they still can't really stay out of their own zone and when they do, it's perimeter cycling with nothing towards the net.

people need to understand that people can point out flaws without being deemed a troll as long as they arent being a loser about things.

Wasn't any less effective. I kinda want phil away from geno a bit. I think they r starting to clash a bit and it's becoming an issue in play. Give geno some youth and speed.

put phil with crosby. worth a shot. park him by the dot and let him drift down for a quick one timer or wrister. crosby is the only guy having success entering the offense zone so might as well give it a try

If Cullen was able to skate like last year, I'd think about sitting Geno and Phil for a stretch.

I hope those wasted PPs don't come back to haunt them.

Even with all the cross checks, slashes after receiving clean hits, bulldozing the goalie, etc. that the Preds have gotten away with, Pens now have 5 PPs to Nashville's 2.

Gotta figure Coach Waaaahviolette will let the refs know about that and they will act accordingly in the third period.

Agreed. 2nd PP seems to simplify and get shots. They're hungrier and it's easy to see.

I hope these stats continue and the Pens win, then all we will hear again is that the Pens played like crap and still won from now until the beginning of game 3.

it was. but thats the NHL's MO.

the reffing has been pretty inconsistent, but its been that way for both sides.

obviously i hope like hell they pull it out. i just dont want to see lamenting this one on the refs should it go south.

I can't believe they haven't figured out the Preds are not going to give them time to make plays. It's so obvious. Just get the puck towards the net. Screens, tips, rebounds. They're not going to get away with the pretty plays.....no matter how much they want to play that way.

I think everyone is in agreement there.

Although, others should not be surprised by any teams board complaining about penalties. We all do it, it's easy to forget when it's not your team.

it's not that im not down to chat with yall but rightfully so the conversation here is pens centric so we dont really talk much about the preds
