Whistle blown... and Nashville throwing ANOTHER punch.
Making NFL refs look competent... Subban and Ekholm both should be ejected based on NHL rules. Throw a punch not in a fight, you're tossed. |

He's also a heady goalie like Fleury, when he's hot is HOT, and when he's not it affects the whole team. - stackthepads
i agree. i see a lot of similarities between the two. |

I'm tired of championing against headshots in the NHL. I'm just going to celebrate with the Neanderthals now and say "Nice headshot on Subban, Kunitz!!!" - Mattkriz

Shero in regards to trades.... yes, terrible for us. Douglas Murray for two 2nd rounders... Iginla to play on his off wing... for a 1st and two prospects.
Shero drafting... his late round picks have paid off the last two years. - Guile
Yeesh the iginla trade. Well hopefully he'll be better rebuilding. Encouraging start. |

With Rinne doing his best Bob imitation, I don't know why they wouldn't want to get pucks on him from any angle. |

Then obviously kill them both, and put them behind giant boulders. We'll wait a week and see who is the true McJesus. |

I think that Josi shot had a better chance of going in before the deflection |

yeah man. watching rust and horns just get it on net. thats what they need. kessel and malkin are both way too hesitant out there right now.
no bonino sucks.
not an awful period, but not great. |

i bet a lot of goals dont get scored because of deflections. the question is it more or less than deflection goals |

Best statement about faceoffs by the suddenly Nashville rooting cbc. "Thought they would whistle that draw down for a bad drop but Nashville got it....." hmmm? |

It's an interesting thought. If you're Pavelski, you probably add quite a few over regular shots, but Sissons? I guess you have to keep the goalie guessing |

I thought that was a pretty good period, excluding the last minute I though Nashville was a team hoping for a bounce while the Pens were looking to score. |

Way too much east/west crap. They got to get over that.
If we could win a faceoff, it might have been a more even period. |
