I think theyre just fine. They had a questionable offsides take away a goal and another goal goes off their defender plus they carried the play all night. Look out for the Preds in game 2.

Man, if we blew this game that'd be it. Jake is revived, thank god. Pens have to realize this Preds D is gonna eat us alive with those soft clears. They pinch so well. On the flip side the game changed for the worse when our D started backing off. Thank god Pekka fell asleep.

Takeaways:

-NO MORE STRETCH Passes! Remove them from the playbook except in rare, rare, very rare instances!

-Shultz can't handle the puck! He must have a hand, wrist, or arm injury besides the shoulder. I'd rather see Streit in there OR bench Hainsey and only use Shults sparingly.

That was one of the crazier games I have ever seen.

I almost feel game 2 is a must win after that. I wanna see a different effort and massive adjustments. If we make the right adjustments and take game 2...we r in great shape. I don't want to goto nash 1 1

Rinne is the only reason to be happy about that game. He 100% lost it for his team. He knows it too. Head down on the bench. Shoot Shoot Shoot. No wind ups no clappers just get it on net.
