A good cap hit and a great player (underrated offensively). The guy plays his off side better than anyone can. He has the strongest backhand along the boards without winding it up on the team. He has absolutely not declined whatsoever. He should play the left side but that's not our decision to make unfortunately.

DK, very strange that the Rutta rumors have gone silent. I read somewhere that he might not want to come over to North America. If that is the case, it's obviously a much more complex decision than just picking which team to sign with.

On Ulf. I am wondering if he does not want the job. He's only been the Charlotte Checkers Head Coach for one year, and if he views the Hawks job as the number 3 or 4 job, guy behind Q and Dineen with wiz kid Colliton waiting in the wings in Rockford, he might not view the Hawks as a good career move.

The Forward who plays with Patrick Kane scores more goals than the Defenseman who played with Ron Hainsey. Shocking.

The Winger who signed his contract in December, 2016, is paid more than the defenseman who sign his in March, 2014. Again, I'm stunned.
