Usually you and I don't see eye to eye on Vilardi, but he impressed me more than ever in this tourney.
I don't think he's physical like Getzlaf, but he can protect the puck like nobodys business. He reminds me more of Spezza back in his prime.

- Brooks_Light

Thats why i said imrpove his skating and be more physical. I think Dallas takes him or Mittelstadt. If he is available at 5 does JB have him ahead of Glass.

He sure did. I was reading an article on Vilardi on hockeyforums. Guy went all out to see that julius nattinen and vilardi were brutal together and never helped each other produce points. When Vilardi was playing wing for Logan Brown scoring rate was 1.51. When he got moved to second line. Scored at 1.21 with almost zero help from his center. Logan Browns scoring rate dropped after too.

I wonder if we will hear a Rocky Thompson and Miller announcement today
- VANTEL

I doubt we hear about Miller before june 21 unless they want to expose Marky to LV

He assisted on 6 of 8 goals in both games. Once he got down low Erie couldn't handle him. Didn't really notice who he was playing against.

Erie has poop D.

If Vilardi could skate a bit better and was more physical. Clone of Ryan Getzlaf. IMO.

Sweet. I have been a huge Getzlaf fan dating back to his junior years. He did disappoint this playoffs with his outbursts towards officials though. He is a beast otherwise.
I would be pretty happy having a comparable to him on our team.

No kidding!

Strome's linemates had just as many points as he did.

Bracco would have been my second choice.

Dipietro ranked 4th in NA goalies. I bet he is first or second goalie taken in the draft. Probably early second round.

Because TSN has some weird attraction to the Stromes, I just don't get it. Dipietro/Debrincat were solid.

I'm always impressed Chicago got Debrincat in the 2nd round

I have a feeling Miller will want to interview officially with other teams, test the market. Too many teams need a starter for him to only consider Vancouver. I really wish we could lose Markstrom to LV, but they will want someone more established (apparently they want someone younger than Bishop, but I don't see maelstrom fitting that bill)

Do we have to wait until January for the Sedins to be extended or can it happen now?

No he doesn't. He is getting what he deserves. He is an assh*le who treats other people like sh*t.

I'm not a fan of his as a golfer but I have no idea if he treats people like poop. A buddy of mine works in development in Cabo and met him, said he was a nice guy.

Two of the most lopsided teams in terms of offense/defense in the final, I guess it's proof that balance doesn't matter if you have enough talent on a team. I think I'm gonna bet on Nashville and hope that Rinne can keep up what he's been doing. After all, many people agree that defense wins championships

I try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but he is not a good man. The whole infidelity thing, now this. He needs to retire, get his life back in order.

Ask stringerbell who's going to win. He can predict the future with eerie accuracy.

There are players like Arvidsson, Atkinson, Johnson, Sheary, Zuccarello, Gaudreau that are doing well in the NHL. Only Zuc is listed at 5'7" the same as Debrincat though. A player with that kind of skill you would think should do well but with his size it will be a question mark until he proves everyone wrong.

If Johansen, Fisher, Fiala were not injuried I would say that Nashville would win it. Without them it's more of a toss up. I think Pit takes it in 6.

some NHL buzz on intragram I saw this morning has predicted that Vancouver, LV and Detroit will all be the worst team in the league next year.

My hope is that the pens are tired, Rinne + the NSH Dmen can hold their fwds back, and the NSH forwards can pick their spots vs. a weak Pens D

Nashville "had" better depth. Pitt has experience. IDK
