They just said at the Mem Cup don't be surprised if Chatfield makes the Canucks right out of training camp
Talk about what others think of our team |

Maybe if we traded all of our defensemen he could do it. |

it's stupid that London dispatched Windsor in the first round and they may win the Cup... - CanuckDon
Commentators have mentioned that Windsor is finally healthy for the first time this season. They are also rested. Rest of the clubs just a two week break to heal not a month and a half. |

I heard that. It was mostly because of his speed. |

I hope Windsor win. I would like to think OJ scored the game winning goal against the Mem Cup champs - VANTEL

I still think Sergachev was the best D in last years draft. The kid has Character. Thats saying a lot about a Russian. Kid has a real nice story. |

It is what we are lacking. I love the skating and speed. |

That's what i want from our team moving forward.
Speed speed speed.
From the D to the forwards.
If this kid can bring that at the NHL level, i'd welcome him with open arms.
Hopefully speed is something that Green values and focuses on. |

Ottawa was successful because of it.
Bryan Murray and Pierre Dorian(to a lesser extent) have done an exemplary job.
Oh and that Karlesson guy is pretty good too. For a Swede(Vantel) |

So were are guaranteed three first overalls and one of them is going to be a generational player. - thundachunk
Yes please.
Actually, when you think of it we are following the Oilers model.
Crappy team, former players in management role, drafting high but being unable to turn the team around.
All that's missing is the Generational Talent.
2018 draft?!?! |

Nice patience by Vilardi. |

Raddisch is not defensively sound at all. |

I like to have a whole bag of tricks. Just really not able to get them all in one draft usually. I really like Vilardi's down low game and would help Van. He's good at keeping possession for Windsor when he gets into the O zone. |

People tend to forget about Fail Yakupov. It's understandable. |

And Draisaitl who I say was a first overall. |

He is very poised and patient for a young player. |

I'm about 15 minutes behind the game but that was a Auston Matthews type steal to create a scoring chance then to use his body to hold off the defender and draw a penalty. If he could skate a little better I would think people would be talking about him for first overall. Need's to learn to use his strength along the boards.
As i'm typing this he comes off the bench, starts and sets up a goal for Windsor. |
