Would Investors daily do it for you?
http://www.investors.com/...ol-to-destroy-capitalism/ - arh777
I've literally never heard of that. The WSJ would help, they're definitely not left leaning.
I still don't see where she's saying climate change doesn't exist. She's saying they have to transform the way they do business.
If she said "it's a scam" then fine.
I wasn't saying she never said what she's quoted as saying. I was railing against drawing conclusions from it that clearly aren't implied. If she said it was a scam you bet your ass they'd have posted said quote, she didn't so they couldn't.
"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution," she said. Where in that does she say it's a hoax? I would really love to know. |

Obviously you didn't see the context for which this post is being posted. I never said she called it a hoax. I said there's a n agenda behind global warming alarmists. It's a bunch of socialists wanting to destroy the economy by spreading unprovable lies. My goodness are you really that dense?? - arh777
That's the part you can't prove. That's what you want to believe more than anything else, but can't prove. |

I believe this is one of the greatest songs ever written and the absolute peak of thrashmetal, not to mention Dave Mustaine's career. |

The problem is you discount other stats that don't fit your narrative and you dismiss the eye test completely. I don't agree with this style of assessing players or coaches. |

Dave Mustaine wasn't good enough for Metallica. That means he's not good enough for me. - RafiDRW
Maybe not the most popular opinion, but the best three Megadeth albums > the best three Metalica albums.
Though in total, Metalica has more good songs and more good albums. Both bands also made really good 'mainstream' albums and then were complete garbage afterwards. Though I enjoy Train of Consequences and a few of the covers off Garage Inc. |

I'm weird with metal. It all is good. Metallica is to metal what REM is to alternative rock. More pop driven but totally worth it. |

I don't think I do the first part, but I do apply what I learned in school to hockey - which is doubt what your eyes tell you at all times. Obviously I'm a little over-the-top and combative at times, but you know, measured analysis isn't in short supply whereas I don't think anyone does what I do better. |

What!!?
Not popular with me in the least !!
And justice for all
Ride the lightning
Master of puppets.
Even garage days
Those 3-4 albums are tough to outstrip for any band save maybe a few of the true greats (Beatles- zepp etc )
Can't say I like really any of their stuff after black, but yeah those early albums are all absolute bangers |

You need to stop treating this guy like he is going to see reason. Let's just accept that the reason for the anti-intellectual anti-education segment of our society is a huge bummer and offer to discuss anything they want - but not until they are wililng to accept new information and alter their previously held beliefs.
Unfortunately, so people will think changing their mind or being wrong is such a weakness that they will go to absurd lengths to avoid either.
If you need a pick-me-up, keep in mind that while these people may be the loudest, they only make up a tiny minority of people and they get absolutely destroyed in real life arguments. |

REM is the greatest rock band of all time. I include the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys and Led Zeppelin when I say that. |

I just want you to take a moment to look at someone's argument and stop and think "what makes him think this" and try and measure their value intended. |

I'm with you.
I have a hard time calling Metallica "metal" they're hard rock for sure, but when I think metal I think Slayer, Pantera, Megadeth, Nevermore, Exodous. Bands like that. Metallica, while super good, is too "poppy" to really be metal. Iced Earth is another weird one to me. They're too melodic to really be metal. |

Yeah, it doesn't help really, because they, through a flawed system, got us to where we are now. Because the moderates never said "stop, you're being bumholes", because they're so power hungry they'll do just about anything to keep it including totally selling out their party to fanatics. |

Not to get too off topic, but why with the new HERO charts is the ice time stat so out of whack? Ristolainen played the 5th most minutes this season, Karlsson played 4th most, 22 seconds more per game. Yet Karlsson has a 10 ice time and Ristolainen only has an 8. The ice time metric is all-situation, so total ice time. And Duncan Keith who played almost a minute less per game than Ristolainen gets a 9. That makes no sense. |

Wouldn't it be liberal science? Since it's wrong and pushing an agenda? |
