maybe...I have no problem with that fan throwing it on the penguins ice Pittsburgh is and their fan-base can be very annoying...I think it's pretty impressive that he got it past security

That's fine if you disagree, just sharing my perspective

no worries...still wondering how someone smuggles in a fish, and a rather big one at that

My first thought was Narcos when they were having the pregnant women smuggle coke

That's a little HArsh. There are some good pieces in Buffalo. I expect, without the injuries, they will be better next seasons and maybe in that big group competing for the final playoff spot.

I don't think it's harsh, the Sabres truly do not have an identity

I don't think anyone could define what kind of team we have

The original one was a miss. The forearm play by Crosby on ekholm was kinda shady too
- Sabresfan-365

Right?
Where's the line between "continuation" and interference?
Looked like a penalty to me

Is Tocchet "A" and Housley "B" at this point?
Or are they just the front runners going in?

- jdfitz77

Interesting
I think most on here (including myself) would have Housley as our choice

The TM experience makes me really sour on GM bringing his own guys but without looking to deep into it looks like a really good fit.

The primary argument against housley would be the PP. That his inability to use an optimal strategy on it doesnt bode well for what he could do 5v5.

What's Chicago's?
Pittsburgh?
Washington?
Etc...

By "identity" do u mean type of players, or style of play?

Did he do that with anyone besides Lehner?

Idc where the player comes from...
as long as he's good & "fits" here

They both matter. Incompetence in one are doesnt bode well for the other.

Besides the Panthers, is there anyone else still looking for a head coach?

Idk what u mean here
He specifically coaches their defensemen to play that puck moving style & get involved in the offensive zone, consistently moving into open ice down low...
I have t heard anyone say that's Laviolette telling them to do that?

Well what's he going to say?
I traded for Bogo & Kane, but I used to hate them?
I'd think that's true of any GM
Murray just was very open about it

i dont necessarily agree with it but the idea is he's running the powerplay using a non optimal strategy. The argument would be that doing that for something like PP doesnt bode well for him running the team as head coach.

I dont really know how much correlation there is though. cant think of a specific example where someone was a great PP coach and then a great head coach. Or a terrible PP coach and then terrible HC.

Just what they are known for. We don't have any identity.
