The original one was a miss. The forearm play by Crosby on ekholm was kinda shady too - Sabresfan-365

You get one challenge per game. If a team wants to waste it (and a potential timeout) on a penalty, be my guest. - buffalofan19
Should be Delay of Game penalty if call isn't overturned. That would at very least limit the ticky tack challenges. Boom. You're welcome NHL. |

They used to do that for the illegal stick challenges back in the day. |

yup...it was in the playoffs so everyone saw it....every other league has replay, not sure what everyone's ticked about - Michael Pachla
It's not the replay itself, it's the implementation of it, it's the fact that all of these calls were missed before that no one batted an eye at, it's the fact that the officials have an 8" screen to look at when they could easily fit a fairly large TV inside the timing booth and have it on an articulating arm so it's not in the way during the normal course of play, it's the fact that they always try rule changes in the AHL first and they didn't for review. The whole thing was rushed and implemented poorly at best. |

“Depending on the mechanism of injury, ‘slow to get up’ does not trigger mandatory removal,” NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly told USA TODAY Sports. “The protocol has to be interpreted literally to mandate a removal. ‘Ice’ as compared to ‘boards’ is in there for a reason. It’s the result of a study on our actual experiences over a number of years. ‘Ice’ has been found to be a predictor of concussions — ‘boards’ has not been.”
I really don't even know what to say to this... |

Yeah, it was some call that went against Montreal in the playoffs(and it was a really blatant offside), so of course they pushed it through. |

I personally try not to see "food" animals as any different from "pets". Even though it's easy to see them differently, they really aren't all that different. Sometimes I even feel bad killing bugs
But even if you don't agree with that part you can't say it isn't low class to disrupt the game by throwing a corpse onto the ice. |

maybe...I have no problem with that fan throwing it on the penguins ice Pittsburgh is and their fan-base can be very annoying...I think it's pretty impressive that he got it past security |
