Considering ROR and Kane/Bogo are complete opposites of each other. I just never understood it. O'Reilly, Okposo, Reinhart...these are smart two way guys. But he wanted Kulikov and Bogosian for his blueline? Other than size to mimmic the Kings im not really sure what he was after.

both are fairly mobile defensemen who can skate pretty well for big guys...and both have an edge to their games...

bogo was a the add-on, not the focal point of that trade...I believe he expected more out of kulikov but was happy that he could move up to get asplund

Man, I rarely ever put blame on a team sport on one player, but Pekka, without question gets the L in this game. Paying a goalie bank and not being able to save a couple indoor rollerblade hockey quality shots is a tough pill to swallow, cold feet or first appearances be damned. Lavouiillet is going to have to really step up and try to keep those guys focused, as they did everything thing they could to earn that win, but that is a heart breaking loss.

I have a track record of every team I'm rooting for losing. So go Penguins
