Adonis was not wrestling for the WWF, and hadn't been for some time, at the time of his death.
Your father lied to you. - Larsson_fan
Not sure which promotion he was fighting for at the time (you're right, I don't think it was the WWF), but he died in Newfoundland (Lewisporte, Newfoundland to be exact) from their van going over a cliff...
"On July 4th, 1988, a minivan carrying four professional wrestlers plunged off of a bridge and into a creek in Lewisporte, Newfoundland. While some reports say they swerved avoiding a moose, others say they struck the animal before the fatal plummet. The one unanimous factor is that only one of the four men walked away from the crash alive."

I never liked Piper. Just seemed so annoying. - RafiDRW
Maybe. He was very underrated in the ring though. WWF only wanted him to cheat and brawl. He was no Flair or Steamboat but he was well above average. His match at WM8 against Bret was a classic.

Oh, don't get me wrong. He was a sound wrestler with decent agility and a great repertoire of moves. It was his over the top personality.

Listen to you with a silver spoon up your ass and your jokes about a low income neighborhood.
I guess no matter how pathetic your life is, you're still White Privileged enough to turn your nose up at peeps who have to live and eat in neighborhoods like that,eh? - Larsson_fan

Did I miss the memo?
Suck it Jero? What happened to 'suck it Iggy'. - Aussiepenguin
Jero got upset he was banned for the 32nd time this year and was emotional when he sent a PM to someone about it and said he would never return because he felt so much injustice. I guess he changed his mind a few days later when he realized his addiction to HB was so strong, that he couldn't live without the attention he receives here.

That's my point...everyone knew he had the skill...
But none of our coaches could get through to him.
That is on our coaches. Not Shultz imo. - Iggysbff
More like on the GM, who hired the coach who ruined players on the team. Time for a Mac-T apology I suppose.
