Well put it this way. He thought he should have been bigger than Bret and Owen, and only politics held him back. But the hilarity of that guy was his personal life. He was a high school teacher that wore his wrestling boots to class, dated an underage student, got her pregnant and married her. Then Davey Boy Smith ( brother in law) started banging her before his ticket went on him.

My father was telling me that a promoter dropped off a poster for an upcoming WWF Newfoundland tour at one of his stores back in the 80's. It was supposed to happen, but when they were driving to one stadium in Newfoundland, their van went off a cliff and Adrian Adonis was decapitated. My father says he still has the poster around here somewhere too.
