But Wilson lightly waved a stick near a guy and that was worth 2 minutes.

Every time he's on the ice he's getting held. Ottawa is getting away with holding all over the ice. It really does look like the dead puck era.
- madmike71

Reminds me mostly of Detroit in 08 and 09. Those teams were allowed to do that all over the ice. It's crap hockey.

I'm okay with that period, Sens are playing better than last game so it's closer. Sid's line has had a lot of chances go wide. Rust looks quite a bit slower than usual. Especially game 7 Rust

It's bad. It's the new mind f*ck, dead puck era. Refs get paid to look the other way, apparently.

I'm sorry Aussie! If Tanger keeps the flow around more often it would be pretty much a tie.

That Swedish charm counts for like 15 pretty points

If that's the standard tonight, I look forward to the 25 power plays the Pens will be getting shortly. Now we'll see if they can somehow manage to actually score on one of them....

But it's a simple solution...and everyone wants it. Players coaches fans...just call the games by the effing rules. It's beyond simple. And you know what..the league set a president in 05 by showing the world that it can be done.

I kinda agree with RW about diving, I think the #1 reason guys do it is because they won't get a call if they don't play it up a bit.

Detroit got away with a crazy amount of interference IMO. This clutch and grab reminds me of the Pens/Florida ECF series in the 90's. Ottawa has no fear of the "free hand" getting called......and why would they.

And u can just bet that if sid played it up...he is goin to the box with the offending player. So regardless of it all, it all still comes back to just calling the game properly to the rules and leave the refs discretion at the door.

Ya they did...they don't win in 08 without that interference. It drove me crazy.
