Really? What a wienerhead comment. Their team just lost game 7 and they've been pretty respectable let. They're also not wrong about calling out the morons at the game who threw crap on the ice. Regardless of what they saw on the replay, throwing stuff on the ice is always stupid

Nashville winning the Cup is a Gary Bettman wet dream, there will be suspect calls.

this team has just impressed me. No letang and hornqvist for the series and other guys like rust and Schultz were injured for about half of it. I don't think there's any other team that could pull a run like this with all of these injuries.

I'm sorry Aussie! If Tanger keeps the flow around more often it would be pretty much a tie.

That Swedish charm counts for like 15 pretty points

I'm saying it now.

If the Pens manage to win Stanley this time around, it will go down as 'the greatest win' ever!

Well alrighty then. This team has a lot of heart. I just hope the rest of them is OK. Great team, great series and a fabulous win. Thanks to the Sens team and fans. I did not agree with all their comments but they were respectful for the most part. I like Hockey Buzz for the mixed and honest comments. Go Pens!

So the first thing Mrs. Killtaker asks this morning is not did the Penguins win but rather, "You better not have kicked to dig last night , did you?"

No...that was 2013 me.

They actually smartened up because after their game 1 win they were being complete morons....or most of them I should say, not all. You would still see the arrogance and douche creep in after their wins though. I had no problems with the Sens at all before this series started but as soon as it did start their fans around here made me dislike them.

Some of them after being complete idiots started acting nice but I was always one for first impressions.

After getting no sleep Wednesday, I didn't get to watch a single second last night, I was asleep by 8 PM.

Congrats guys. Well-deserved victory, especially dealing with all of the injuries and slumps from key players. Getting Schultz back was huge.

I know the numbers may not bear it out, but I think thatNashville will be tougher to beat than Washington. Washington may have better "possession" numbers, but Nashville probably has the best defense in the league, a goalie playing some of his best hockey ever, and very underrated forwards.

I think the series is coin flip, but I give Pittsburgh the edge due to experience. A healthy Letang changes that, but I still they they pull it off in 7 games.

I'd agree with you on the Washington bit but they'll be without Johansson. That REALLY evens the playing field. Subban is going to have to go full god mode (which he's capable of doing) for Nashville to play us tougher than Washington did.

Great win. I am Canadian but I'm so glad there are no more Canadian teams left in the playoffs. It was just so painful to watch CBC through the whole series.

All we heard before the game is how Cherry wouldn't even play Kessel because he has fun in warmups (and he is American) and how great of a coach Boucher is. The commentary was tremendously biased towards the Sens also, but I guess that's what they want.

I think at this point Sullivan has to be considered the best coach in the league. Every personnel move he makes works, even as they deal through all of these injuries. I mean, Sheary was playing terrible enough to be a healthy scratch and Kunitz hadn't scored a goal in 3 months yet he puts them on the top line with Crosby to start the game. I love Babcock too and I think they are very similar in the way they approach the game but if the Pens can win it again he will "Leave no Doubt" (as Babs would put it).

Great games from a couple of returns to the lineup!

Schultz giving the tram that strong possession driving defenseman they missed. Gets the PP goal. Underrated play was him buzzing through the crease in 2OT and his man, Pageau, colliding with another Sens while trying to keep up and ending up screening his goalie. John Shannon of sportsnet said he played with broken ribs.

Sheary might have been the Pens most consistently dangerous player. Huge bounceback for him. Maybe earns his spot back with Crosby? Reunite Sid and the Kids?

Gosh and who comes out for Hornqvist? I'm glad I don't have to make the luneup nexr game as nobody deserves to be pulled. Even more glad Mike Sullivan is the man that does.

So glad the finals don't start till the 29th. I'm traveling around Europe before coming back stateside, which makes catching the games nearly impossible since I need to be up early to see the sights. The Cup Finals starting this late means I should be back for Game 4, so I'll be able to watch the second half of the series, which is the better half.

That's why I was so happy about the matinee this series. I was in Rome and there's this awesome Pittsburgh expat bar in the college bar side of town, and they had a big game watch that night. poop was a blast

The suspect calls will go both ways unless the refs actually shut the (frank) up like they did for both OTs last night. That was amazing.

Das cool though. I'd probably appreciate traveling around Europe with my chick way more anyways, if it's something serious at least.
