Dude is the best defenseman in the world, and an absolute class act. Did you see him in the handshake line? He was smiling the whole time. That's some serious respect right there.
- j.boyd919

Ya totally. He was total class wishing sid good luck. And I may not have agreed with his first Norris as he wasn't good defensively at that point, but his overall game now clearly is best in his position. Also Swedes are incredible. I always root for them after Canada internationally.

You obviously get the Canadian feed being in Ontario, CBC/Sportsnet made such a big deal about his injuries, like no one else has them. He's a great player and played great. I would never hate a Canadian team winning it all, but the Canadian narrative is so (frank)ing annoying. It' an international game, sell it like that.
- Thorny87

Oh absolutely pissed me off as sid IS hockey canada. He didn't get near the love EK got. This root for a Canadian team just because they play in Canada makes zero sense to me. The absolute best player on the planet for over a decade is Canadian and just because he ties his laces in Pittsburgh doesn't change that he literally is hockey canada.

great series the pens deserved the win but wow what a bunch of moron fans; boo's on clear cut icing calls and a puck that didn't even come close to going in. even the accouncers tried to justify the reactions, I couldn't help but face palm on some of those crowd responses, just embarrassing and they might even challenge Montreal for the leagues most clueless fans. But in the end the pens won and honestly deserved too, just a little disappointing that fans that dense get to cheer on the pens in the final. great team tho don't get me wrong. great series guys

I've been to many games in pitt. They are some of the most knowledgeable hockey fans for an American based team. In the arena they only saw the overhead view of play and it could easily look in from far away. Also a lot of teams fans boo icings.

So glad he's our captain. Amazing player and always classy.

He's a beast. Such a treat to watch. Guy plays half the game at a top level like it was nothing.

Meh, they only showed one replay (the above angle) which was hard to tell with the double bounce on top. Still, no excuse for throwing poop on the ice. I think it was
Mordecai and his pals.

Says the guy who's team owner wanted CSI investigation. You can take your back handed compliments and choke on them. Maybe Melnyk can order an investigation into how the Sens lost this series.

The five Senator fans here might be taking the Crown for the most inept and miserable fanbase on hockey buzz. Someone hand them some rope and let them be done with it.

And you're representing the worst of the Penguins fan base here. Good job, you might get an award and even some cake

After watching the post games with Phaneuf, Boucher and Ryan I now legit feel a little bit bad for them. Sounds like they had a real close group going there.

I feel bad for Anderson and all that he has gone through with his wife's health. The guy played outstanding the entire series. He was great.

Absolutely. But all teams have issues going on behind the scenes. Not maybe to the degree as Andy and I hope all truly is well with his wife and family.

I honestly like Dion. Not at that price tag obviously, but I still like a rugged dman dishing out bruises.

Boucher seems like a good guy, but I hate his system. I realize it got them within one game of the finals, but I simply can't stand his brand of hockey.

I've been ripping on Kunitz for a long time but damn did he have a game or what?

Sheary looked good as well. That will help his confidence going in the SCF

Sheary played his best game of the playoffs. It seems Sullivan can do no wrong. I'm elated I was wrong about him.

Really? What a wienerhead comment. Their team just lost game 7 and they've been pretty respectable let. They're also not wrong about calling out the morons at the game who threw crap on the ice. Regardless of what they saw on the replay, throwing stuff on the ice is always stupid
