Well EK mentioned how Kane to Boston was going to happen soon. JB isn't there anymore. Quite possibly that someone else in Boston has an eye for Kane.

Funny I mentioned that yesterday. I liked the size for top 6 boost for the Canucks over taking a risk on one of the top rated D in this draft. Let's see if JB wants to pull off moving a D for that.

2) the risk factor for D is more then these top C's with size in this draft.
3) can't count on next season's draft position but the D available seem as good or better. More of them available down the rankings as well.

As the 6th defenceman, honestly who cares? He was never horrible with us, we just always tried a Hamhuis/Weber combination in our top 4, which is a total joke.

I blame Willie for Weber's horrible play as a Canuck, Nashville uses him properly (a 3rd pairing/2nd unit PP guy that is expected to defend first)

Doubt JB picks a D man, our defence is fine for the next 5 years, at least on paper. We can find more prospect depth in the 2nd round for defence, he's going to pick a centre this draft methinks. Our centre depth is just awful, and that's with Hank in the lineup

He has had an up and down 24 hours. He got zero bites on the Tryamkin bashing because no one cares. He was also extremely obvious when he was asking about Hansen. The Sedin chirp was ok. I'd give him a 40% rating. Not terrible but not strong either.
