The dman you attempted to reference was Bill McCreary Jr., of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played another 10 or 11 games after that game. He wasn't blackballed. He just sucked.
We're thin on RW. Was just wondering what his game is like. I know I've watched him a few times over the years but I assumed Nucks fans would know him better.

I'm aware of Mcreary. There was a STL player as well that corked Gretzky clean as well and never played another game it was all swept under the rug...can't remember his name

Under contract and unlikely to be available is how I would describe him.
I know. Just curious because I have a feeling the Sharks at the very least will be doing some re-shuffling. - TheTaoOfSemenko
With a player they just got and by all accounts played excellent?
You'd be very lucky. Patrick Marleau is more likely. Not a bad fit in Edmonton on a one year deal, plays wing and center.

The Vancouver Canucks and Evander Kane have long been in the trade rumors.
“Vancouver is always a possibility,” said Friedman when asked. “I know that rumor has always been out there and Vancouver could definitely use some scoring. I don’t know specific teams at this point in time. But I do believe that Botterill’s decision is either, ‘We do it or we move.’
“I don’t know if they want to go in next season with him unsigned because every day that you have a player like that, they’re depreciating as an asset.“

How is Vancouver "always a possibility"? Yes Van needs scoring but they aren't in a win now situation. JB and TL hate players like Kane.

Nobody got tossed out of the league for hitting Gretzky.
For years people were leery of hitting him because he had Semenko on his wing. Also, Gretzky was pretty damn hard to hit. They actually taught us at hockey camp how to go into a corner like he did.
Later on, aside from maybe a few players he was respected enough that people didn't want to try to hurt him.

at least you'll be good and drunk, it will be a level playing field. When you there. When you get there, get a local to say "I had to put my car on a barge to get to the bar" it's pretty funny in that think acadian accent.
