I get that there is no missed called stat, it was an eplaination of meaning.
I respectfully disagree. That missed or ignored calls would be even.
That said, the officiating has been horrid for all teams in the playoffs specifically and ALL TEAMS should DEMAND better. - Doogs
I am guessing it would be roughly 200 per game per team, give or take a few. 40 of those for PITT would be Malkin cross checking people |

I don't know, but I've seen plenty on here & in our thread about you guys whinging about all the uncalled penalties where the Pens were guilty of foul play, but I haven't actually seen 'any' gif, link or video showing me any.
Is there any? Serious question???
Just to reply about Geno;

Gold-colored glasses.
And believe me I'm not sensitive, just trying to have a conversation with a person that seems to have an ability to have a conversation without lowering it to name calling.
And just this morning Kerry Frazier was on the radio stating that the refereeing has been horrendous throughout the playoffs, but to allow the Senators to get away with what they did was even worse. He also did mention that Malkin got away with some stick work as well. But the the refs cannot allow Methot and Company do what they did.

I'll bet Geno gets penalised first before any grubby thing a Sens player does. Hopefully no 2 for 1 specials (unless it benefits the Pens ). |

That's because YOU'RE biased. The pens have gotten away with so much poop this series That you can't see through your gold colored glasses (last game Malkin alone could have had about 8-10 minor penalties). Pretty much every single impartial observer has said that the missed calls have been numerous and pretty much equal across the board. - sensarmy_11
Impartial observer is stretching it. 99% of people that would comment about that have a dislike for the Pens. The problem is that you see through "Red colored glasses" and can't see what Ottawa is getting away with all game. It's called being a fan. Pens fans will b!tch about what they see Ottawa getting away with and Sens fans with b!tch about what Pittsburgh is getting away with. Why is it that when Pens fans do it, it whining, but when all other fan bases do it, it's justified??? |

So you saying that ottawa has gotten away with way more than Pitt isn't bias..........and me saying that both teams have gotten away with an equal amount is bias......and I'm the one wearing the homer glasses?

I've been reading both boards all series, and it seems to me that the pens fans are complaining about refs way more than sens fans are. But I'll also admit it could be the same 3 or 4 people just repeating themselves over and over again too.
I also get the sense that penguins fans feel that they don't have dirty players, which isn't true. Every single team has players who make dirty plays. |

I'm saying that it's garbage that Pens fans get called entitled, whiny homers when they complain about the refs, but every fan base does it. You can understand why Pens fans are upset when they see their best player, who has a history of head injuries, get elbowed in the head a few minutes into a game and nothing gets called. You can see how we've had questionable hits that cause injury to numerous players without anything being called and when we complain, we get called cry-babies.
And yes, i think the Sens got away with more than the Pens in game 6, because for the majority of the game, the Pens were controlling play, especially in the offensive zone. The Penguins heavily out shot and out chanced the Sens in that game, and the Sens stole it because of the unbelievable play from Anderson. |

So in this post alone.....youre whining about the officiating while at the same time as whining about being called out for your whining.
And you said ottawa has gotten away with more this series.....now you're backpedaling to say only game 6. |
