I wouldn't wish Bernier on the Jets. He's the type of goaltender with the unique ability to suck the life out of team or a fan base or a building with one stupid boneheaded play in the first five minutes of any game... or pretty much at ANY interval within that game.

Bernier to the Canucks would actually make so much sense... guaranteed bottom 2 finish... but please don't subject the Jets younger goaltenders to being around Bernier.

Bernier is a siv. He holds the record for most goals allowed in a season before the singing of the anthem is finished. Would be surprised if any team in the NHL gives him a job even as a backup. Makes saves only after a game is lost. The first shot softie last night was unforgivable. Goes against everything you want from a goalie, most importantly giving your team a chance to win. He stinks.

I dunno given the GM job now, with a bank roll of one of the richest owners in all sports. Why not. Avs are apparently setting things up for the Colorado Eagles to be their AHL affiliate. He would have that next door and full control of that too.

Landeskog isn't going anywhere. Duchene is and there was a lot of talk already in place b/w Montreal, Sens, Blue Jackets, Islanders, and Carolina at the deadline.
