Since I have no clue what you're talking about I guess, no, I wasn't the 'imbicile'.
I thought your attendance comment was pathetic. This reply validates for me that you're not worth my time.
Go to town with your idiotic messages. I'm done responding to anything from you. I'll use my time conversing with intelligent people. - maaddmike
Take some advice, read a comment in full before reacting to a sentence you don't like! I have absolute confidence in your ability not to respond to anymore of my 'unintelligent' comments! |

I think the most funny, or ironic thing about the past few pages of posts is all the sentiment that the Sens are just "Getting Lucky"
Kind of like how your franchise was bankrupt and about to be moved, and you won the draft lottery to turn around your franchise?
I'm not sure if that's lucky, or political. But it is certainly ironic for any Penguins to claim any other team in the league is lucky. Under any circumstance. - Jordo
Just for a touch of 'substance' in your comment, how many posters are giving this sentiment?
Then count how many have said otherwise?
Get back to us. I'm interested to see the result. Remember, I think if my memory serves me 1 poster referred to luck for the Pens as well - does that count? I know what I said about this particular game. |

And there is another "I got nothing intelligent to say, so I will go with the attendance thing" response. Just like the AussieAss - credibility gone. - maaddmike
No different than bringing up bankruptcy, rigged draft lottery, and other garbage. |

Don`t disagree. But lowering your own bar to the level of others is not really a great strategy to make yourself look good.
I have no problem with people that have different opinions. Fans are passionate and are going to disagree and see things through different lenses.
But when I hear people throw out garbage like attendance digs, taking shots at a city, etc. they tend to lose any credibility with me. |

It's true. He really doesnt...and really its not a bad characteristic to have. Why should anyone care what anyone thinks of them? Just prevents one from being one's self. |

I don't think the draft was rigged but lets be honest here if cros and malkin didn't get picked up by Pitts the team probably would have been moved. Which is sad considering the history, world class players, and past successes the team had prior to lucking out in those drafts. When pens fans dig at Ottawa for not selling out I can't help but remember pens "fans" completely giving up on their team to the point of a potential relocation because they weren't dominating the league like they used to. Getting the best player on the planet was at least enough to wake them up and save a dying franchise. That said, I assume 70-80% of the pens fans here don't even remember those days or at-least didn't follow the team pre 2006... |

A$$ out of u and me
most of the fans around here are close to or in the 30's or older...a majority of us fans since Mario and Co. Since before the (current edition of) Sens even existed.
Take your ignorance out of here. |

Relocation was more about the city not helping the Pens get a new arena, and less about the attendance. In regards to the attendance drop... most teams in smaller markets go through those same ebbs and flows depending on how well the team is doing. They had one REALLY bad year, but the others were just normal attendance because the team was bad. |

sensarmy, I've been following your comments all series, and the vibe I get, is that you come here to try and get people to bow down and say how good and mighty your sens are.
The sens shouldn't even be in this game, it should be Washington/Pittsburgh, but you are lucky to play in the weakest division in the NHL.
JUST ADMIT THAT YOU ARE LUCKY
YOU ARE BEING OUTPLAYED BIG TIME
JUST ADMIT IT!!! I admitted that Washington outplayed us and we had a horseshoe up our butt and pulled out a fluke that we had no business winning.. Why can't you just admit the same?
Regardless of who wins this series, the Pens ARE better than the Sens. There is so much luck involved in hockey. JUST ADMIT IT AND STOP TRYING TO ACT LIKE THE SENS ARE THE 1980's OILERS!!!! - bochangs
Not a single one of our fans would argue that we're the better team (and, as a result, lol at your team for even being in this position...), just that everyone underestimates the Sens and it always comes back to bite them.
This whole "we're the better team" narrative has been going on against us all season and playoffs. Yeah we came from the weakest (I would argue that just means more balanced point distribution across all the teams meaning more parity, but to each their own...) division, but so what? We're here, we have won an equal number of games as you this season and have an identical playoff record and best record against Metro division teams in the league. Did we get lucky last night? Absolutely. So what? We won.
Each team has had one dominant game this round, all the others have been one goal victories both ways.
Here's the thing about this year's Sens no one seems to have picked up on yet: they save their best game of the series for the last away game. We went to Boston for an elimination game and crushed them on their home turf as the underdog. We went into MSG and took down the Atlantic division powerhouse (!!) New York Rangers in their own barn after a couple of games where they flat out dominated us too, again as the underdog. Karlsson hasn't even had a decent game yet this round, and he always has at least one and tends to save his best for last.
Arguments of "you can't stay this lucky forever" have been used all season against us, so as a longtime watcher I can only conclude this isn't luck anymore, it's intentional and deliberate lulling of other teams into false senses of security by Boucher. The Pens player and coach comments last night (Malkin all but guaranteeing a win in game 7) show they still believe we shouldn't be here and may not be ready for what the real Sens firing on all cylinders can do.
I am praying for two things in game 7: a game settled by players and not the refs, and for us to show our best effort, which hasn't even been close to appearing yet this series. I have also really come to respect a lot more some of the players on the Pens depth chart (Rust, Rowney, Cullen, Cole, Daley) and Malkin is single handedly winning my playoff pool for me. No matter what, this season is a win for us but that sweet sweet taste of the Finals is so close we're not going down without the worst fight you've had so far this playoffs. Bring it on!!! :D |

So are you embarrassed of "Sens-ational","spatso (who isnt)","sgoodwin", and "charliebox"? - DeflatedPucks
Why be embarrassed for people he can't control and are just poking you for fun? Why are you even on here if you can't stand the fundamental principles of hockey forum discussion by fans of opposing teams?
Also, please show some respect for the guy, that dude is actually in the military and just home from some overseas deployments. He stands on guard for me, and you too if you lived up here. #respect |

Yeah, that's where the underdog narrative falls flat. We were in that position just last series and got the job done. It's not like we don't understand the underdog can win or that when they do people like to dismiss it as getting lucky. |
