MadPatty BANG ON!

That is my biggest pet peeve with hockey. CALL THE RULES BY THE RULE BOOK! Officiating is so political. I agree the refs don't favor any particular team, but to anyone that watches hockey on a regular basis, it's very obvious that the refs always favor the losing team, and always try to "even up" penalties.

If Team A commits 10 legit penalties and Team B commits 0 legit penalties, the power plays for the game should be 10-0. It's not Team B's fault that they are playing a good clean game.

Take the politics out and let the game be decided by the players ability to play within the rules. Drives me absolutely insane!

My previous point stands.....you make pens fans look bad and I would be embarrassed if you were a fan of the same team I am.

You're clearly reaching spatso and prock levels of stupidity and homerism.

Don't forget to put your helmet on before you walk outside today champ.

So are you embarrassed of "Sens-ational","spatso (who isnt)","sgoodwin", and "charliebox"?

I am not saying the refs are for or against any team but every game you watch is almost like watching a different sport. NHL refs are by far the worst in all of sports. The rules change every game and they change situationally.

The Hainsey penalty was clearly a call made because Pittsburgh was winning and had a 2-0 PP advantage at that point. If the situation was reversed that never would have been called.

If the rule is you cant intentionally snap a guys stick in half, you have to call it even if it significantly impacts the outcome of the game. Phaneuf did it to Crosby and it was obvious but the refs let it go because the Pens were leading and on a PP. Either it is a penalty every time or never.

Pens have been the benefactors of this at times too, so I'm not insinuating that it is unfairly biased against them. I just hate to be able to sit there on the couch, drinking a beer and predict what team is going to get the next power play based on the game situation.

- MacPatty

The games directors are just making/forcing everyone to be immune to the decisions being made. You just expect poop to go down for all teams at 1 point & another. The only way to stop it is to stop supporting the game. As I said I have stopped purchasing merchandise - & I really love my Pens caps, so that's my little protest. That & I'll never buy the NHL access to watch the games. (frank) them, if they get serious then so will I! Pronger being employed by Bettman & taking home Flyers $ which is against their own rules is ridiculous.

Or,

Be like Sens fans & don't go to the games!

I rarely post in there. Usually lurk, so the chances you saw any of my posts are slim. Stop being butthurt.

Ok. That's understandable. With all the losing going on in there over the last few years you've missed all the ref-bashing and whining.

Funny how only Pens fans question the disallowed goal when everyone else say the right call was made!
- Raven33

Literally no one else, outside of Canada apparently, said it was the right call...

Doc Emerick - Goal
Edzo - Goal
Pierre- Goal
Milbury - Goal
Jonsey - Goal
Liam McHugh - Goal

Also unanimous verdict that Hainsey did not interfere..... Call the high stick on Turris sure... but then call the blatant stick breaking slash on Crosby with the Pens first PP. If you're going to have automatic calls in the rule book then freaking make them.

Anderson was a beast no doubt but the calls in that game had a big influence on the outcome as well.

Here's hoping a vocal home crowd can sway the refs into some favorable calls on Thursday night.

Man, you need a nap or something. We could just blame the refs for why we didn't make the playoffs this year, never thought of that.

I personally think he did get interfered with, they just haven't been making those calls. Pretty sure they made a similar call against the penguins in another game too. The inconsistency of making certain calls depending who's winning is ridiculous.

I haven't read what sgoodwin or charliebix wrote so can't say one way or another. Sens fans who common here with the sole purpose of being aholes or who cry about reds when we lose are embarrassing though and I'm sure they get called out for it.......just like that ass hat I responded to deserved to be called out.

There were blatant missed calls against both teams, and there were soft calls made against both teams. At the end of the day the PPs were even. The officials did t decide the outcome of that game.

Pens dominated last night. One goal against was a 5 on 3 and they had a goal taken away that might be allowed on another night. I mean, I've seen worse not get called goalie interference and in this playoffs at that.

Pens have been getting better and better looking the past 3 games. However, I fear what could get in the way of the final is Anderson. He is on a mission and has that personal motivation with his family ordeals. If he plays like last night again the Pens might not generate enough on the scoreboard.

One game and anything can happen. 50/50.

The pens outshot ottawa.....ottawa had better goaltending and did a better job of finishing their chances. And you don't have to leave me alone, I like reading posts like yours (regardless of what fanbase writes them).....blind hatred and homerism makes me laugh

And crying about refs and conspiracies isn't frustration, is being a whiner

Were you the imbicile that had a go the other day about the Placebo song & my chin up comment to Anderson??

So you're obviously just trying to agitate as you never read my comment nor the comment I responded to!

Good work keep it up!

Anderson had an all world performance last night no doubt and the scary thing is he could do it all again tomorrow night no sweat.

I think the Pens fans frustration is with the 5 on 3 because in these playoffs we've seen the Pens denied so many 5 on 3 from blatant non calls. Even last night the Pens should of had a 5 on 3 after Crosby's stick was slashed. The fact that he has to go get another stick makes it a 4 on 4 for 15/20 seconds.

Furthermore with that Sens 5 on 3 was the initial call on Hainsey. That sh!t hasnt been called on anyone all playoffs and to make matter worse it was the Sens player who put his arms around Hainsey haha.

Ahh well...moving on. One more crack at it and at home.

Pens fans should be very, very pleased with how they've turned their game around the past 3 games but should be very, very scared of Anderson. He could do it all over again.

Since I have no clue what you're talking about I guess, no, I wasn't the 'imbicile'.

I thought your attendance comment was pathetic. This reply validates for me that you're not worth my time.

Go to town with your idiotic messages. I'm done responding to anything from you. I'll use my time conversing with intelligent people.

I think the most funny, or ironic thing about the past few pages of posts is all the sentiment that the Sens are just "Getting Lucky"

Kind of like how your franchise was bankrupt and about to be moved, and you won the draft lottery to turn around your franchise?

I'm not sure if that's lucky, or political. But it is certainly ironic for any Penguins to claim any other team in the league is lucky. Under any circumstance.

we're you actually expecting me to agree with your bullpoop?

And if we looked like a b team then you should be embarrassed that your team has been taken to game 7 by a b team......oh wait, I forgot, it's an NHL and ref conspiracy.

The Sens have been quite lucky. Any team that wins a Stanley Cup has a degree of luck along the way.

Nashville is lucky that Rinne stole them a couple of games vs Anaheim, that Gibson and Rackell got hurt, that the refs gave them some questionable powerplays, etc.

Pittsburgh is lucky Fleury stole games vs Washington, that Ovie was injured vs Toronto, that Karlsson is playing on 1 leg, etc.

Ottawa is lucky Anderson stole last night's game, that the "goalie interference decision roulette wheel` worked in their favor last night, that the Penguins defense is beat up, etc.

Nothing wrong with admitting that your team is getting some luck. Every team that makes it this far needs some luck to still be playing this time of year.

Well let's hope there's no questionable calls in the next & final 1!

As 1 article said, no one knows what goalie interference is anymore as there's no reference.
