If they sign one more 4/5 guy all of the sudden there's depth at D. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Manson/Vatenen/Dumba/Myers/Tanev
The Leafs will trade for one of those guys.
Manson will be the cheapest. |

Manson is the best option imo. Loved watching him in the playoffs. |

I agree Manson is best option. Kid has a ton a fire and we need someone young that is mean and can clear the blue paint. Watching the playoffs, the crease crashing is crazy. We NEED tougher D to box out and punish guys who run Andersen.
Looking at mock drafts and researching some D picks around 17. My choices are Callen Foote or next would be Hague. I know people say Brannstrom but he's too small for me.
Reilly, Manson
Gardiner, Zaitsev
Rosen. Foote
Dermott
Anyone know if either of Foote or Hague are NHL ready??? |

Bernier - AdamFrench
Bernier is the biggest choke artist in the NHL.
He plays great when the pressure is off, but folds up like a cheap suit from Moore's when the team is counting on him when it matters.
As soon as I saw him in goal last night I knew the Ducks were cooked!
An .873 save percentage in the playoffs! Just cost himself millions in free agency this summer. |

to get both Vatanen en Manson, what would Leafs need to give up?
JVR + Carrick + 1st ++ ???
This is conditional on Leafs making a deal with LV in order for leafs to be able to keep Manson/Vatanen/Gardiner/Rielly obviously. |

Future contributor. I don't see the Shanaplan trading masses of prospects as sweeteners for trades.
Goes against everything Brendan has said about being a contender for 10-15 years - walshyleafsfan
Not really.
They will use all means to improve...including trading prospects which they have bunch of as per Brendan. |

Why take Brann at 17, sites ive seen have him going 29-30. Two ive seen have us taking Valimaki at 17. Anyone know anything about him?

The ducks wont be coughing up both dmen...I dont believe...specially in the same trade.
Also, I dont believe Carrick would be a trade piece they would want.
It would be Dermott or Nielsen.

I think to get a d-man that can help is going to cost more than a prospect.
Brown/JVR/Komarov/Martin/, anyone not named Matthews/Nylander/Marner should not be signing any long term leases. |

IMO doesn't make alot of sense to trade Dermott for Manson / Vatanen since Dermott projects to be a top4 d-man.
After Bernier's 'display of qualities' last night, Ducks might never want to make another trade with Leafs though |
