My thoughts exactly. Except that they beat us in 2017, 2016, and 2011. So fourth time's a charm?

After 5 years, all hockey memories are automatically erased from my memory.

I've been to several hundred hockey games. Never once have I left early (outside of a few Griffins games I got dragged out of in college for getting into drunk brawls with idiots like 10-15 years ago) no matter how poopty a team is playing.

I got kicked out of a small wrestling show for a local promotion at a crappy bar because I ordered a tray full of Jaegerbombs and attempted to share them with the performers in the midget match during the match and spilled them all over the ring. Thankfully the bouncers got there before the other wrestlers did. I went to a peeler bar next door and later saw one of the little fellas there and upon seeing me he started laughing and walked over and asked me if I wanted to do some Jaegerbombs with him. The night became a complete mess after that and all I really remember at one point was watching him piss off the roof of a minivan and asking anyone if they wanted a drink.

Been going to Nashville since 2006 to watch Canuck games among other things. People in the rink were great. Step out onto Broadway honktonks you wouldn't know if playoff hockey was on. Let alone in surrounding counties like Franklin. So hope they put the basketballs away and see the light of hockey greatness.

But judging how free Prede fans there are on this thread and how dead it is probably shows the hockey impact. Oh sure people are partying now. Any excuse for Nashvillians to throw down some yelping and drinking. But hockey wise it's a flat line of energy. Maybe that will turn. There will be more posters to reflect fan base too. EK shoiuld advertise to Preds if he's so high on them.

Good on Preds team for making Cup final. They were my dark horse this season fooling all by underachieving in regular season. It's too bad other long time fan base cities have such sucky teams to barf over. Maybe, they should be like Nashville and don't show interest unless they win. That's how to grow the game, right

Always love seeing a #8 seed run the gauntlet and win the Conference.

Once Chicago fell, thanks to Nashville, the West was wide open and there for the taking and they took it. Good for them.

It's a shame that they lose Ryan Johansen, if Pittsburgh advances, I'm not sure how they take down the Penguins, but that's for another day.

All this country music makes me want to rip my ears off. Hopefully that won't be a focus of the Stanley cup, which I'm sure it will be.

Because today's music of bubble gum pop songs, incoherent rappers, annoying club techno music, and fake alternative rock, are all so much better???

Congratulations, Preds fans. I scared the cat a couple of times in the third period with goal shouts. But he'll survive.

So anything other than rumors about Fisher's injury? I had heard possible orbital fracture. But that could just be someone conjecturing after seeing his eye bruised.

Excellent series Nashville. As always, we're extremely impressed with the fans in Tennessee. You've always had our number too. And yet I'll be rooting for you if you play Pittsburgh. I mean, I gotta give my boy Bobby Ryan some love. Good luck to y'all. You have a really good team built from the back forward with an excellent coach. I hope you fully appreciate how rare this is.

And if anyone sees 26_Pred, tell him not to bother going to the games in the Finals. He'll just leave early.

No kidding.

And yes, the rest of us will always stay until the end.

As for the WC Championship, we'll enjoy the moment and appreciate the Preds and their effort. Last night was frustrating at times - Ducks outplayed the Preds for much of the night and they were more disciplined than normal. Anaheim was skating fast and transitioning quickly but the final score was great and that's all that counted in the end. Go Preds!

"... free Prede fans ..."??? If you're going to troll at least take a stab at some measure of literacy and cogent writing, assuming you're capable of that.

Moving on, you're kidding, right? We're not on the boards because we work and have more to do than waste time responding to a troll as, unfortunately, I am doing now.

As for the atmosphere and fans, you are completely clueless. Broadway has been a madhouse after playoff games, especially last night. The outside viewing areas were completely packed and an even bigger madhouse. In case you missed it, the Preds sold out every home game this season.

Sorry I had to stoop to your level but I couldn't let your besmirching comments go unchecked. Now get lost.
