It is funny how much love Bobby I attended 4 junior games this year MacKenzie gets compared to a guy the lives his life at a junior rink - VANTEL
Im not talking about Bob, I'm talking about your buddy with the jerry curls. Look his record up drafting for Calgary. |

Edler is a good #3 . Canucks play him as a #1.
Hansen was a great third liner same as Sutter. Canuck play them way out of their skill set.
Canucks have had a history of 3s dressed up as a 9 - VANTEL
Played out of their skill set because no one to play ahead of them.
Was thinking this morning that maybe Van should get a nobody to play Left first pairing with Tanev and have Edler- Stecher as the second pairing. They both may thrive better there. |

Why? I have seen Glass play a few times I don't need to look up anybody to form my own opinion |

Not sure if you were joking on this but it would probably do Edler a world of good . Even better would be Edler playing on a playoff team. |

He is a hockey guy but I don't think he puts enough effort or time into it to say that he forced the pick. He isn't out there scouting. Other than the Canucks I doubt he watches tape. He isn't involved enough to have an informed decision. Maybe I am wrong but having a singular focus makes people successful and I don't think hockey is his main focus. Its a hobby much like ours. Thats not to say you can't be good at it but we aren't doing it everyday. - thundachunk
Aquilini was involved in hockey decisions...very much so. This is a fact and shouldn't be surprising. He has backed off not going to get into the JV pick though as its been debated too much already. |

Juolevi and Boeser are solid…solid picks.
JV the jury is out…not ready to toss the towel in yet see what Green can push him to accomplish. - LordHumungous
It's a good bet JV will get time in bottom six next season. He may be on revolving Comets door with prospects coming up to prove their game. Then go back down to work on what's missing. With the amount of prospects that might be NHL ready the revolving door method might be Green's way to manage exposure.
That type of asset management above, allows RFA's who aren't waiver exempt like Boucher, Rodin etc., who would likely get claimed, to prove themselves now. This could result in moves at TDL. |

I have only seen Craig "three bust drafts as GM" button with glass that high. I like glass, but safest pick I see a stretch. I Vilardi slides, that's much safer. - neem55
Incorrect Neem personally, I think Vilardi is a bigger risk due to his skating |

I don't see Edler Tanev and Gudbrandson all back this year . Just my opinion but I think at least one gets traded. |

That's the D if JB doesn't bite on getting picks. So many GM's not high on this draft. Maybe he's one of them as well. Doesn't want to move our D for a gamble. |

Keep them for next season. Van doesn't and won't have the offence to play with a even worse defence then that. |

I would be all for a draft Glass and Ratcliffe
Trade Tanev for Landeskog and draft a Dman top 6 next year. |

I've changed my thinking and I want Liljegren. I don't think that Glass, Mittelstadt or whomever van drafts for a forward will be worth the same as a 30 plus point projected D man. I would rather draft a forward next year that projects to be a 70-80 point forward who can step in right away then a 60 point one this year. |

He's my dark horse to make opening roster. I see a lot of tenacity, maturity and hockey IQ in him. He's going to have a Stecher like impact at camp. |

Truculent but damn near useless at hockey.
That can be acquired in free agency for less than EG costs now, not to mention the raise he'll likely get.
If JB can get a 2nd or a project prospect with some upside, it'll be one of his best moves. |

People keep mentioning Heiskanen but he's not a playmaking center or a PP QB.
I also trust JB. I also think he knows to start from the back. |
