Seriously...My friends wanted to see the "Les Géants" thing with the kids...and if Montreal wasn't Montreal they would have went.

Such a drag just to get where you want to go every time, finding parking...etc.

I live on the southshore.

Took the bus, saw the giants, went home. My kid was thrilled.

No problems.

I have been to Saputo stadium alot more than the bell center in the last few years because the access is so much easier, plenty of parking around.
- Fredo

Worse thing around the Bell Center is those parking on the side of the streets that are "fermés pour tournage" and you don't see anybody filming anything.

I went to Saputo stadium on saturday.

First Impact game ever.

It was sunny, we won 4-1 and I thought the overall experience was great.

Will come back for sure.

Oh and the fact you can actually buy around 5-6 different beers, one of them being a crafts beer IPA was pretty neat.

Never been yet to see a game. And it's very near where I live.

Worth checking out. Especially on a sunny day.

You can even wait and see it it'll be sunny before actually buying tickets since it's rarely sold out.

It would take me probably over 2h to get downtown with a combination of car/bus/metro. Whitout traffic it takes me 25 minutes with the car.

I'm all for public transport but it has to have a minimum of efficiency for people to use it.

I'm not sure it's way better in other cities, at least in north america. But other cities may have better public transport services as well.

if you're within metro range Montreal is about as good as it gets for public transit outside of somewhere like NY.

There's a train 10 minutes from where I live that could take me downtown but It only works for in the morning and afternoon. Ever seen a major city where trains stop at 6pm and no service on the weekends?
