I believe staple was making the point that he helped develop a lot of the players on that team and they are now 2 games away. He's not saying richardson is the reason the team is there. He did a very good job helping players move on from the ahl which is the job of an ahl coach. He will be a big help on d and will demand accountability something that's been lacking on this team for years. He has experience I think we will like what he brings to the team. Now Gomez I'm not sure if he's coached at all after playing so he would be a wild card, I'd prefer someone with more experience

I'm much more comfortable with a player turned assistant or running the pp then the backup turning gm I get your point but way different relevance to the organization. Snow never should have been hired and should be fired yesterday
