They were all penalties though....
- EnzoD

But continue not calling anything vs NASH to let them get back in the game. They'll give them a 5 on 3 but let them hold, cross check, etc

seriously. guy goes face first into the boards. refs helping the preds out.

Especially after calling that soft cross check penalty on Getzlaf earlier. Franking garbage officiating, per usual.

"let them play" when they're losing....but gotta call the penalties when they're winning

They did the same thing vs CHI whem Ekholm was riding Hossa's back when the Hawks were up 2-0...or Subban raping Toews and them "letting them play"

Situational refereeing is absolutely nauseating. Consistently inconsistent standard of officiating and a clear cross check leads DIRECTLY to a game-tying goal with under a minute left. AWFUL.

And Ldholm getting punched in the face....and the ref had to be right there

Well, I wasted enough of my night watching this garbage. Thanks, NHL

From a few months ago, looks to be RD - good size 6'3 211 also teammate of the newly signed Kampf. Notice the goal music....

- Sundevil

Good catch that he's a teammate of Kampf. I wonder if that will factor into the signing.

So Subban poops the bed behind the net and throws the puck away, then deflects it into his own net for the game loser. Put a microphone in that hotdogs face now and let's see what he has to say.

Hjalmarsson, Panarin, Anisimov and Kruger to Colorado for Barrie, Duchene, Landeskog and a 3rd.
- walter34

those are good players!,but I think Colorado would hang up the phone! Imho,But what about Seabrook? And Kruger? For picks and prospects, would the cap savings be enough to plug the holes in free agency? Anyway the teams going/should be a contender but bowman have is work cut out for him!I think Vegas and phoenix could be a possible trade partner? But good luck with the draft and the offseason!

Kane put his place up for sale and Seabrook expressed his desire to finish his career with an up and coming team in his native Alberta

No $hit!
Here is something to watch for.......

Unless the game is a blow-out, if Pitt or Nash are withing striking distance in the 3rd period, the refs will swallow their whistles to allow both teams to get back into the game. Last night's game, before Nash 1st goal, Forsberg pulls the same play that put Kase in the box for 2 minutes, yet no call was made. Then, the obvious cross-check that allowed the tying goal.

Decision may be coming in the next couple of days. Hawks still in the thick of it. He may well decide to stay put in Czech as well.

These type of players are as much wildcards as prospects on the farm, in the AHL or OHL. I am sure if this guy signs he'll be summarily slotted into one of the myriad of poster lineups under the heading of "one goal". In the end, these guys will miss more often than they hit, not unlike your run of the mill prospect.

I hope the guy works out if the Hawks sign him, but banking any kind of grandiose success on him is a fool's game.

That's the nature of the beast Stan is working with. With zero depth, zero cap flexibility, weaknesses all over the place and milions tied up in a few players, it's a yearly crapshoot of kids, imports and retreads to get the Hawks back to the promised land. I think it's completely unsustainable.

They all seem to have top-4 skills until the Hawk development system gets ahold of them.

Or - NHL reality catches up to them.

Just some rumor info:

Yvon Pedneault reports of ongoing speculation in Montreal suggesting Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin will trade forward Alex Galchenyuk and defenseman Nathan Beaulieu this summer.
