Not about being a sore winner here. It's irritation with the disrespect for my team. Ottawa has won those 2 games not the Pens handing it to them.

Just want some respect where it's due. Didn't hear a ton of Sens fans making up excuses when we lost.

Too be honest, there's only like 10 Sens fan on this site. 3 of which we just congratulated... Sorry we missed you.

Ya had to go and be a Richard! I understand though, The Pens have caused Ottawa so much heartbreak over the years ya gotta take a shot when you can. Good luck going forward
- Thorny87

Pens fans can't have it both ways, either Ottawa wins or the Pens do. The fate of this series isn't in the hands of Pitts alone. I'm reading too many posts making excuses for why Ottawa is being allowed to win. This series is going to be close and that's how it should be in a conference final. Injuries are part of hockey, we have some, you have some but making that an excuse for not winning is poor sportsmanship.

If the Pens find a way to win it will be hats off to them from me. I just expect the same from the opposition.

This series is far from over. Pens rebounded perfectly before vs the caps already once.

To be fair I scraped this entire thread and couldn't find what you're talking about. But I'll take it as a post facto.

Good luck in game 4

I "scraped" back a whole page for you,

Congrats on the ass whooping. One team showed up and the other stayed in Pittsburgh. The Sens brought it from the opening faceoff and never looked back.

I'm sure he sees it that way! Good game for you guys, came out absolutely on fire! Pens are taking the bus to Ottawa apparently. Haven't showed up yet.

Myself in response to david 22

Every fan base has bumholes that can't win or lose with dignity. You're the former.

In this circumstance, I'll use injuries as an excuse all day. The team is missing its 2 top scoring dmen and 2 top 6 wingers. You can't expect a team to Consistently beat good teams when 5 starting players are injured every game.

What happened there? Geno gets sent of for standing?
- Thorny87

I think they got sick of him chirping/grunting at them after they let him throw 1,423 punches after the whistle while they were in between him and whomever he was swinging at. He definitely has the highest skill to douchiness ratio in the playoffs at the moment.

Kesler owns that crown. Probably had more to do with CBC's replay work. They showed him standing about 20 feet away from any person on the ice after he was sent off.

I see it still as 50/50. Curious to see that MAF sucks right away again when Murray came back. I said Pens in 6 but it is going 7 for sure now. And anything can happen in a game 7. Let's go Sens.

On the other side of the bracket I really hope that Anaheim somehow makes it, Nashville is the big favourite in my opinion. Although, Rinne can suddenly suck again

You never know. I think MAF got rattled by the first goal and never recovered. We are missing some key folks so we have to deal with that. I'm proud of what this team has accomplished this year. I think they are too eat up to go all the way though, IMHO. Sens played well last night too, give them their due. I think MAF will be on a short leash from here on in.

I hate saying this, but I think the Pens are running out of steam. Last 6 won 2. That in itself isn't great looking forward, I hope we can turn it around but in all fairness to the team, they have been running against the wind most of the playoffs.

On the other hand, we might be due for a few wins!

Going to be interesting who gets the net now??

I know, as Sens fans, we're far to busy on discussion forms that are specifically senator hockey to care what a handful of penguin fans here at Hockeybuzz have to say... I only post on here to support the team, but other than that, this site (and all its lame rumours) is a fraud. So ya, hockeybuzz is all yours

Pens usually respond pretty well the game after a loss...especially embarrassing ones. A lot of people on both sides of the fence thought the teams would split in Ottawa and I think that's very possible. If that happens then its a best 2 out of 3 with Pens having home ice.

I said after the 1st game loss that I wont think they're in trouble until its 3 games to 0 or 3 games to 1 for the Sens...I'll stick with that.

I don't know much about Sens fans. Are you their spokesperson?

Don't generalize Pens fans we are a diverse bunch like all fan groups.

Kesler is indeed slightly more douchey, but Malkin is waaaaay more skilled than he is, Kesler has to be a wienerhead to be effective, Malkin seems to be more effective when he is not being one

Pens fans on here are terrible losers. Complaining about Bad calls, injury excuses, nothing is their fault. No matter what they find a reason. Ottawa apparently didn't play well again it's just Pitts played bad and let them have it right. So at what point did Ottawa not walk out and score 4 goals in the opening period? Oh ya it was just MAF letting the team down. Good to know you guys will throw anyone to the wolves when they don't stand on their head for you. Some of those goals were legit hard to have stopped so …

There were some terrible calls in Game 2 and for the record Ottawa has been devistated by injuries in countless seasons before so it's a fact of hockey. Pens fans just don't like the idea that Ottawa is not rolling over and dying for them as they expected.

Might want to see if you can recall those bets folks.

- Sens.sational

Get stuffed buddy, the Pens have been decimated by injury all season. Go post on your own board with your 6 fans that post there. This series isn't over and when the Pens come back next game, and they will, we will see what you have to say then. We never said that Ottawa was going to roll over and play dead for the Pens. By the way, us Pens fans are allowed to be frustrated and vent on our own boards.
