I tend to agree with this. Get away with injuring someone but calling them a name gets you suspended.
I do think there are times when it is very insensitive like the examples we've seen where a player taunted another for his past abuse.

But otherwise this PC crap has gone way way too far.

One of my friends in the states is a married gay man. Tough as nails type of guy.
They have a den when they do karaoke together....they call it the "fagatorium" and laugh about it. Id never have said it but to them its a big joke.

Im all for protecting people and their rights but the PC world HAS gotten far too sensitive. Some of it needed to be done for peoples rights but its gone too far.

I was listening to the radio a bit today and I can't believe everyone was so pissed at the Blue Jay that called someone a name. Pratt was saying he should be part of the Pride parade committee .Give me a fuken break. If I got punished every time I called someone a fag or dumb China man I would be eating egg rolls and wearing Richard Simmonds spandex 300 days a year.

I debated the issue and said I think it is stupid that a person can call someone a name and get a two game suspension in order for it to look right for the public, Give the guy a 5000 dollar fine if you want. To tear someones head off and end his career and get a 5 min penalty as oposed to calling someone a fag and get two games and labelled for life as a homophobic is stupid.

When Sean Avery made his homophobic slurs he was an bumhole and a piece of crap . He believed what he said.

That Blue Jay said something in anger in the heat of the moment and had no malice. Giving him two games was stupid and once again vancouver media made something out of nothing.

Yard House - A grade (Rib Eye w/shrimp)
Hugo's Cellar - A grade (Peppercorn Filet)
Battistas Italian - A grade (Chicken Parmesan)
Gordon Ramseys Pub and Grill @ Caesers - A grade (Hells Kitchen Burger was unreal good)
Heart Attack Grill and In/Out burgers get a B Grade although IN/Out was pretty damn good.
Ri/Ra Irish Pub at Mandalay Bay has some of the best Haddock Fish/Chips you will ever have…outstanding B+ grade almost an A.

All in all a great experience thx to all who posted restaurants.

Unfortunately no the shows we wanted weren't on when we were there. Did Hoover Dam on Tuesday loved that experience.

Fremont St last night was great enough for shows actually. The bands were great and old Vegas really is where the action is. Loved it down there.
