Again, the guy as a GM didn't know prospects because he picked duds. I'm not saying he might not have learned from it, but there's a reason he doesn't have a GM job. I'll take his opinion on young players with a generous pinch of salt.

I know it wasn't I'm all for a youth movement, my thing is that moving out players to gift spots to rookies is stupid. If Boeser, Virtanen, Goldobin and Juolevi earn their spots that'd be amazing news.

But the 99 draft got us the twins at 2 and 3.... so i wanna see a repeat this year..

Draft will be good. Just like any other year. Problem is best player may come from 20+ etc. Good test for the scouts involved

So EK has this long going rumor on E. Kane. Now says:

"Kane is 100% on his way out of Buffalo I am told. I hate to ever say 100% about anything and I should know better by now...but that is a direct quote from someone with knowledge."

Funny thing around this time last year without warning JB pulled the Guddy deal. Addressing a need he's been saying was missing. He's been saying top 6 needs some beef. A stronger LW scorer. Last season he didn't get it done. Despite legal cloud the price was high then. But Kane has only a year left to UFA so his value has declined in that respect.

Just wondering if JB will pull off another May surprise.

You should stick to hockey talk and leave the rumors to the professional.
