Tanev and Sven for 3oa and one of the goalies
Flip 3ov and 33 and Hutton for 2ov
Draft nico or Nolan, draft lilgran (sp) or herschenan (sp) - Pres.cup
Brian Burke no longer works for the nucks.
HE would be required to do all this wheeling and dealing.
Also, I think we could get better value by moving Tanev and Sven and Hutton separately than 1 pick. |

I don't think Tanev for the 3OA is enough, and I think Tanev for the 3 OA and a bad goalie contract is too much. I am trying to avoid the hype of drafting another top 10 pick this year. I think Glass or Mittelstadt this year is fine and take another good pick with the 33 rd.
I keep telling myself Tanev for a Landeskog or package for Drouin would be better. I would also look at Tanev to Buffalo for their 2018 first round pick instead. No one here knows who the best Dman is or whether they are a bust or a star. I would take a center.
Whoever said Hutton is over rated is _________, never mind.
First of all no one here has rated him high and secondly how do you know exactly how good or bad a young Dman entering his third year is? - VANTEL
A. you're right there.
B. Again, you're correct.
C. Seems more realistic.
3/3 my man. |

So.... you're saying that we're going to be a relevant team for the next 3 yrs?
If so then i withdraw my idea.
If not, than why waste his prime? He'll be 25 next year.
Tanev won't be in his prime when we are relevant again.
Why not get number 2 and three for a pair of seconds and two over the hill roster players.
Or we could go asset management and say that Tanev was free, Sven cost a 2nd. Hutton was a5th.
So for 3 second round picks, a fifth rounder and a collage free agent we get to move up to 3ov from 5ov and get the 2ov pick?
I'm sorry but 3 2nds and a fifth for the 2ov I'd be overjoyed.
Asset management b1tches - Pres.cup
I see Sven as around 28-29 when we start to be competitive. Still in his prime. Hutton... again, trading a guy after not a great season is weak management. Sell high, buy low is the first lesson. Tanev/Edler are high arguably so is Sven, but unless the return is really great I wouldn't do it.

Im moving Hutton just to free up a spot for oj..... i think her has high 3 low 2 round value. Switch him with Subban
I think people are over valuing our players.
2nd and 3rd ov
Better then
33, 56, tanev, Sven and Hutton
Butt lets swap out subban for Hutton.
Is that ok? |

Forwards prime is 24 to 27 statistically.
Defensemen is 27 to 30
Both Sven and tanev won't be part of our next cup run.
You guys

Crazy thought: OJ isn't NHL-ready next season.
The amount of proposals here that are assuming he'll be ready is ridiculous. That's how you become the Oilers/Avs. You should assume he'll need more time and if he pleasantly surprises then that's a great "problem" to have. |

Why does it irritate you so much? No one here makes the roster cards.
People get those ideas because Benning has come out and said it is very possible. No harm if he doesn't make the team. |

I would.
But i think that's a stretch.
I think Dallas could do better.
Tanev for Wpg's 8oa seems more realistic, and even then it's unlikely. |
