That bottom 2 GIFs makes me wonder: Will there ever be a day when full face masks are required in the NHL? Or will there be a player who voluntarily wears one? Because of his age, ROR will probably one of the last NHL players without a visor now that they're mandatory for incoming players

It isTHE FLAG representing these United States of America and all we stand for.
By disrespecting the flag, abusers are disrespecting all our beliefs, freedoms and all,of us, present and past, including those who have fallen to protect your line of thinking...good, bad, or indifferent.

I don't understand anyone who can't see that, and who thinks so little of the symbolism.

Are you serious with this post ?
- SABRES 89

Don't get me wrong I have much respect for America and what it represents and I mean no disrespect.

But the disconnect for me is some of the rules about the flag, like the one saying it is considered a living thing. It is still only an object. I understand that for most people it is a symbol, but for me America itself is what I have respect for, the people, the freedom.

I posted a link to the NHL's t-shirt sales that had a Sabres symbol with the American flag as a background and somebody said it violated the flag code....

.....It doesn't.

I don't need to see that caveman Phil Kessel and his (frank)in cave teeth smiling on national television any more than I already have to..

And many times the team with better special teams

Win the game

The quote you guys have been saying is special teams don't matter much

Again
They do

- homiedclown

This is getting asinine

Both team had 1 PP goal last night

The team that won went 25% on the Pp
The team that
lost went 50% on the pp

How is last night an example of special team being so important?

You've pretty much proved yourself right the pabst 3 days. Even I wasn't convinced but you can't disregard actual numbers.

I mean, we want an example close to home look no further than our #1 powerplay and 2nd to last place finish in our conference.

I think a good PP indicates that we have a handful of good players. The team as a whole is the issue

The PP per game stat tells everything you need to know. Fewest PPs in recorded history, going back 55 years. PP specialists are not valuable if they can't score 5-on-5 because more of the game than ever before is played even strength. With fewer PP opportunities, a team cannot count on their PP to win a game. The PP may never come

McGinn's success in that role last year and Moulson's success this year tells me those players are the beneficiaries of good PP teammates

I love how people act like they payed Leino out of their own pocket. Move on... You are probably helping his sales by talking about it. He didn't like it here who cares. Buffalo is so self conscious.
- MCGUIZZY

I don't care who paid him, the guy took the money and ran, never showed up to play and now says it was like jail, as if Buffalo made him into the crappy player he is. And if you want to really get technical fans did pay some of his salary by going to games buying merchandise ect.
Stay classy ville.

No exaggeration at all - has there been a sabre in recent memory that played the game with less heart than Ville Leino?
